Pickup magnet polarity check

All you need is a compass, do not use smart phones, or expensive watches with inbuilt compass. The strength of guitar pickup magnets can be too much for such products. Only us compass like shown, and hold it like demonstrated in video.
No risk taken for any faults, ...... all to your own risk! :-)

And here some info some of you might not know: The north pole of our earth is magnetical south pole. So this also explains why the north needle of the compass is heading to a south up pickup magnet.

So, if I wanted to install a switch mod where it allows me to use neck and bridge pickup together, they wouldn't cancel hum, right? Cus they would be the same polarity.
