Time Lapse Hardwood Install Tread Install and Finishing Dustless Hardwood Refinishing

This video will show how we tie-in a new floor with an existing floor, install a retro tread staircase, and finish the whole floor with stain and 3 coats. Our process is something we have developed and fine tuned over 15 years of doing hardwood flooring, we only work on wood floors so we have a great system for it as you can see in the video. Please remember that this is not a video on how people should do floors, we understand that every company has their own tricks and techniques. I will soon release a full tutorial on how we install staircases, how we do tie-ins, and pretty much everything to do with hardwood flooring. Process:
Rough sanding 40 grit with drum sander
Rough sanding 40 with edger
Filling
Fine sanding with edger 80 grit
Fine sanding 80 with drum sander
DA palm sand with 100
DA Buffer with 120 grit with Bona Power Drive
Water pop (we use denatured alcohol only, no mixes)
Vacuum
Duraseal Stain (custom mix)
1st coat
Buff
2nd coat
Shoe molding
Caulk
Buff
Final coat with t-bar applicator
