Malorie's view on how the world's changed in the past 20 years reminded me of the Theodore Parker quote that Barack Obama would mention in his speeches: “The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice.” These Service95 author interviews are a ray of light in dark times. Please keep them coming. Cheers!
13:30 I agree with this statement wholeheartedly. Even though things seemingly look like they're going backwards, as a whole, I think we as a society have taken massive leaps forward in equality and fairness for all. While there will always be bad apples, I think overall, things have been and are trending in the right direction. It's one of my favorite things about Dua; she doesn't judge you on anything but the character and kindness of your heart. She's helped teach me to be less judgmental and more open to engaging with people outside of my usual social groups, and it's one of the biggest reasons why she's such an inspiration and positive influence on my life.
I’m falling so hard for this girl. Shit. Elegant, intelligent, smart, intimidating and cute. “Cute” usually doesn’t go together with any of the above. An exception in this case.
These service95 interviews are golden I love them so much ❤
