When are you guys going to move beyond the fact the police brutality is only one issue in the black community. You have to many young men out here who are fatherless. They don't know how to be a man. If they knew how to be a man , they wouldn't be looking to idiots who carry guns as role models . You have to many of our children who lack a good education in order to break the cycle of poverty. Don't talk about privilege when privilege only comes to those who have wealth. We aren't instilling in are children the need to build wealth . Getting a good job is not enough. They need to own businesses to employ members of our community. We need to respect ourselves and stop supporting anything that does not project us in a good light. We need to protest not only our treatment by police but our treatment by our legislators as well. That's why people have a problem with black lives matter , it's an organization that appears to have a very narrow minded agenda.

I really agree with what Kevin Gates had to say, and why is it controversial to say "all lives matter". It has become so wrong to say something that at one time everyone would think "well that's obvious".....I believe focusing on race creates more racism, we are all human...I agree there are injustices in the world but the black lives matter movement is counterproductive and if anything it makes it's protesters look angry and ignorant.
ALM is controversial because they only use the hashtag as a response to BLM plus if they really believed all lives mattered then when people were being killed by the police and not getting justice they should do something besides throw around a hashtag. You do realize that there are still racist people in america, right???? The KKK is still a thing. and if we don't address that now tension will just build up over time like it is now. also I hope I seem angry over what's happening because I am and no one is looking ignorant but yourself.
