Darrien Day The song was originally intended to be part of Solange's "True" EP but was kept aside for some time. Dev released his own version later on. One day Solange and Dev visited Verdine White (bass player for Earth Wind & Fire) and asked him to play bass to the original demo. They liked it and recorded it with Solange vocals on it. :)
