Yeah the selective enforcement is total BS. They know who the auto Sears are going to and do nothing but there's a video of a guy getting a visit from the ATF for ordering too many oil filters, but the guy is a mechanic. Is it based on color? The states attorney released them stating "mutual combat" as part of her reasoning for letting them walk. Any one of us would have gotten ten years just for the nfa violation. I have to disagree with you in some respect (also from California). They impose these dumb laws to stay in office. It's not about control like they just like making laws because they are mean or something, but instead the constituents say "hey! Those black rifles look scary and stuff!" and the politicians say "okay so it's now illegal to make them look scary". It's more about appeasing people who don't understand firearms than it is about exerting power. But guys, ima put myself on a watch list here, I do not have "illegal" weapons ;) and if one falls out of the sky when shtf, it'll be an incredible coincidence. We all should put ourselves in a position where a gun can fall out of the sky and into our hands if shtf. :) they can make all things illegal, but they can't stop some of these things from falling out of the sky when times comes to.

The issue a lot of you don’t want to accept is that “everyone thinks they’re the good guys”. You can’t be “good” if you’re not educated enough to tell good and evil apart and for that specific reason is why the people you call “liberals” want bans imposed. If you understood the concept of liberalism you’d know it better fits America’s beliefs than conservatism. Every action that has shifted the history of the US has been based on liberalist principles. Ending slavery, funding the space race, upping security after the famous September day of 2001, etc. Liberalism as the name implies, calls for LIBERTY but with LIBERTY comes RESPONSIBILITY. Why do I need a special license to operate a forklift but absolutely no training or knowledge to buy a tool whose sole purpose is to kill? That lack of logic turns both sides against each other. Your version of “good” is objectively wrong if you for example use the Bible as a moral compass because then, by pure logic, I can compare you to the Taliban. The framers were well aware that governments cannot defend everywhere at any moment. For God's sake they communicated by horseback with letters during war and making movements/announcing battle results (if the war is over? can I stop fighting now?). They understood that all the people who are physically able and willing to be prepared, are not stopped by laws against defending themselves. A key way to insure this was to make clear the people have an un-removable right to bare any arms of the current day (weapons of the age) to be able to do so.
And yet you have state governments literally trying to dictate what kinds of ammo you can have, how many your arms can hold (mags), if you can carry arms at all, when can you carry them, what types can you carry, how big your arms can be, how powerful they can be, how fast they can be? it goes on and on

How lucky you are in the USA, we aren't even allowed to carry anything for self defense as it is ALWAYS looked at by the law as an offensive weapon, even in your own home if you kill a burglar in self defense you're probably going to be in big trouble! we still have a constitution (written many years ago) that states we have the right to protect ourselves but our governments just ignore it and make laws that protect the criminal, our Police Force do a great job catching criminals but then the courts do nothing to them, there is no deterrent the system here absolutely stinks, I know American people will never allow their Gov. to crap on them, but we have, so sad.

I have zero desire to own a full auto pistol as I see them as a novelty, practically, unmanageable, and a waste of ammo, but having said that, if somebody else wants to waste ammo, more power to you. The federal government has zero authority to attempt to regulate civilian ownership of arms that can be suitably used as a “militia” weapon, period.

You could throw a Glock 34 in a Ronnie kit with a seer and some 33 round mags and you’d basically have a full auto MPXK with a 1 inch longer barrel, you could also use a DIAS and a fightlite MCR upper and have a more reliable SAW

You've obviously not ever fired a full automatic weapon. Yeah it's suppressing fire alright,...but only 1/2,..( IF you're any good) of the bullets will hit where you want them to. Suppressing fire was just to keep the enemy's heads down, period. Basically a waste of ammunition in the civilian world,....and you will probably kill some poor innocent person.

@@kentonhammond8938 The point about having automatic weapons isn't simply about their utility or effectiveness. It's about the fact that the government has no right to say we can't have them. Do you need a anti-aircraft missile launcher? It doesn't matter, you should be able to own one if you want.
PS: I have fired SAWs, M240s, and an MP5. They are great tools for the purposes for which they were designed.

Non-compliance has to be considered beyond what some individuals might do with their weapons. We must also protect our fellow men when they are being prosecuted by the current system. Whenever placed on juries, we must do our part to ensure that the highest law in our land(Constitution) is upheld above all others that criminal politicians and judges(case law) make up as they go.

I had a federal jury trial against an entity of .gov. The jury, unanimously, found the .gov tyrant guilty of violating my civil rights. Well, lo and behold, the .gov appealed. The federal judge THREW OUT the jury verdict ! He justified his actions on what he considered, a technicality. Oh, and he only needed 45 pages to define his "opinion".
