Wonderful movie. I want to encourage that dark skinned women are also soft, loving and kind mates, deserving of a doting husbands. I make this point because often times movies can illustrate biases and stereotypes and I do not want anyone comfortable with the belief that women with European features are the damsels and while the darker women are the villains. It’s such an evil false projection. However this movie supports healthy marital relationships and as a therapist, I am excited to see themes like this.

Nigeria government need to pass a law to protect women. Especially married women, enough of family members thinking they’ve a right to a mans home, property and wealth because they’re relations. Many times, there has been stories of women driven out of their home without anything by relatives and some with kids. Mostly when the husband is death, that isn’t right that women in Nigeria and their children are not protected in their own husbands house.

Nigeria government need to pass a law to protect women. Especially married women, enough of family members thinking they’ve a right to a mans home, property and wealth because they’re relations. Many times, there has been stories of women driven out of their home without anything by relatives and some with kids. Mostly when the husband is death, that isn’t right that women in Nigeria and their children are not protected in their own husbands house.
