Can someone answer this question for me and forgive my ignorance but how do all the female guest know what pattern and color to wear and is it a tribal thing or custom and does it change?
The bride gives the color of the day, or materials (asoebi) and each friend give their tailor to sew the design they want. Its a tribal thing and it doesn't change. This marriage is an Igbo traditional ceremony.
