I’ve done Chan’s Room but it’s inky in English, so I decided to do one for Hyunjin! His English? AMAZING he is actually really good at it!
I was wondering if I should do one with Spanish subs for all the Spanish speaking STAYS out there 🤔what do you guys think? It would be an extra video, apart from the weekly content.

As an English major, I can attest to this statement.
As someone who struggles in English class, I send lots of hugs and caffeine hehe
as a non-native speaker, but also someone who isn't borderline dead in English, but who's best friend is dying, I confirm this
english is easy to speak and write for me but it seems like my english teacher has a shortage marks to award us. Seriously english is one subject I never seem to get satisfactory marks
its my second language and honestly its the easiest language out of all the ones i speak. i got a 197/200
@@sita487 it could be easy for some and hard for some. I found it very easy given that it's my 2nd language and I excel in the subject but linguistically speaking, it is really hard. Language acquisition can vary from one language to another because of the different sentence construction.

Same here!! If you like, you can maybe start with just learning the Korean alphabet; there's only like 16 base letters and two rules to memorize, and then you can read everything. Anki is a good flashcard app for it (on Android or a computer). You can easily learn to read it in a day (or maybe an hour, if you're really good with languages).
Korean has a TON of words that you'll already be able to read (there's a lot of English words, and you will already know people's names). You will feel so smart. XD

the effect they have on us is magical like, I could literally be crying so hard and to calm down all I have to do is like watch a Chan’s room or smth or listen to hyunjin or anybody being encouraging. this has nothing to do with the video but yeah I get pressed when people say they’re just “Asian boys with no talent” and that “we only like them bc of their looks” but no it’s so much more than that like- I could go on forever but ty for this video :))

I get ya..If I was in it for the looks, I'd have stanned a bunch of artists already since I've known kpop or western groups for a long time and was a casual listener...stray kids just hit different for me...they just look look more attractive simply because I love them now 💕

He can say the "r" correctly and that is perfect!!!
It's an ideal word because usually, I've noticed that a lot of Korean may say it like an "l", so at least he has that down!

R and L are really hard to pronounce because in korean (and I think Japanese too) the pronunciation of the letters depend on the placement in the syllable, but you can tell he really practiced hard 🥺🥺his English is honestly so so good

He is...it makes me more determined to learned Spanish. Plus, those who aren't a native speaker of that language, just sound better speaking it (in my opinion)
Honestly me too, I am in my first official year of Spanish 1 (we had it in elementary too, but ya girl forgot and I used Duolingo, but I forgot some of that too)
and I tried learning hangul, so I can read it (pronounce it really) and that was hard

I'm so impressed by people who never experienced sleep problems from stress. Weird stuff - I've got strong allergy pills this last week, and I haven't slept this great in months! And I feel like the stress levels go down with enough sleep as well. :D
Anyways, I'm so shook by his English! At this point, he just needs it all to click together and he will be really good and comfortable speaking.
Same, I used to have really bad insomnia but it got better as I found out I was allergic to certain foods 😫. Also I think he knows all the vocabulary he just needs a little more practice 😊
I’d never realized how hard English really is until hearing how hard it is for other non English speakers to learn it. Everything he said was completely true and I have tons of respect for people who try their best to learn English even though it can be a confusing language.

Wow the fact that he gives comfort and counselling in a language other than his 1st language, I'm very proud of him. Even though I can speak Korean, I would never imagine myself counselling someone (at that, someone who speaks Korean as their 1st language) in Korean.

I'm crying like for real. He's so pure, I mean Stays would stan them even if he didn't do this but he's such a pure angel that he took the time to learn a foreign language just for us and that too to counsel/make us feel better. His English is genuinely really good. One, the accent is really good. He's really clear and based on his accent, tbh if I didn't know better I wouldn't guess he wasn't American or something. Two, someone on tik tok mentioned this, he uses conjugations and "filler" words like um and like. Super impressed! English is a trashbag language that makes no sense at all, so anyone learning it later in life is awesome
it took me 3 years to learn english because i was studying to be a supply teacher in england and i worked in london for a few months and this kpop fan i was teaching she helped me learn english whilst i was learning how to be a supply because i would go into different classes to teach and now im perfectly fluent and i also learned romanian because i had a romanian kid in my class last month
He reminds me of me with Spanish I think what is tripping him up is the placement of words and how different it is worded in English to Korean because I feel like he knows most words but it’s like he’s thinking of the order ☺️

just saw a tik tok video talking about the problem of some people who are being unconfident and consider their English skills as "bad English" and they said that we shouldn't be ashamed of making mistakes during learning a new language, cause the efforts we put in learning a 2nd language are already precious so yeh, take your time figure what you have to say and don't be anxious about it
Anyone who has a trouble falling asleep
1. Take a warm or a cold shower, depending on what u feel.
2. Meditate
3. Repeat one thought in your mind, just concentrate on THAT one thing.
3. Tea or milk, just as he said.
4. Lofi music. Helps, a lot. Piano too.

I find the showers rrl help, I have grown so used to showering at night that when I don’t do it, even if I showered that morning, it’s really hard for me to fall asleep
You can also poke your self and say go to sleep multiple times though I don’t make sense
Or just pull an all nighter then you’ll fall asleep quickly the next night

Hyunjin is the only visual or face of the group who tries to improve his english well. Some visual of the group doesn't even try to like they only speak english when they are in a show, interview or when the other member asked them to.
They would also speak in full english sentence but you can tell that it's scripted. It's not that bad tho, we can't force them. I just admired hyunjin even more because of this.

if some of you can't sleep here are some tips:
- wake up at the same time every day no matter when you go to sleep
- no screens at least 1 hour before you go to sleep
- do something relaxing before bed, something that brings you down and doesn't activate your brain
- don't eat to much before going to sleep
- never do anything else in your bed but sleeping, so your brain does remember that this is sleeping zone
- if your brain goes round and round at night it's best to leave your bed and think somewhere else
- try concentrating on every single muscle one at a time when you're in bed and relaxing it consciously one after the other, that always makes me fall asleep
