Stick season is absolutely amazing. I can't stop listening to this album from beginning to end. I have never dialed in to every lyric of a song before this album. Thank you Noah
Same! I usually find it hard to like every single song on an album from any artist in general. but this album right here is a game changer. i can relate to each and every song in some sort of way... he has so much talent. AMAZING ALABUM!
did you dial drunk?
He was my most listened and probably favorite singer this year. Love to see him getting more recognition
Noah is so beyond talented in his songwriting. They speak so loudly to me. You deserve every ounce of fame
The View Between Villages needs to be like 3 minutes longer it hits so incredibly hard.
good news
I was born and raised in Vermont, so I can relate to these songs so much. Especially the anxiety in a small town, leaving and coming back. So happy for Noah!!!
This album is such an amazing and accurate ode to being raised in New England. The way that Noah so perfectly provides that feeling of relatability that he describes is damn near ethereal.
Described perfectly for living in Canada as well. I don’t know if I’ve ever cried so much listening to an album
I’m not sure that Noah understands how gifted he is. I grew up listening to all the influences he’s mentioned, and not one can compare to his lyricism and ability to dig into the pain meaningfully enough for the music to actually heal people. He IS Noah. When he says he’s going to build a boat, does he realize how much he is doing to rescue us from the shitty conditions we are facing, politically, environmentally and economically? His talent for touching people is unmatched. Unmatched.
I live in Minnesota (not New England) and northern attitude resonanates with a lot of us here. Winters are absolute hell for anyone who is not from here, but we've found a way to master it through all of our bitterness. There's just something about being stuck inside while its deathly cold out, wrapped in a blanket with lit candles watching movies, hardly spending time outside that really is depressing but ALSO comforting 😂
This album should win a Grammy!!!
i treated this like a podcast and listened to this while working and it was so so good. truly brought a smile to my face! this man is incredible and deserves the world. his music truly changed my life🥺
Noah is the first artist I’ve heard in a long time that completely moves me! I show him to everyone I can as a service to their lives. I agree that there should be a story telling genre, it would be my favorite. LOVE- keep going.
I’m incredibly late to the party but this guy is a breath of fresh air
The song Stick Season is absolutely fire, especially lyrically. He could write a thousand songs and I'm not sure he would top that one.
I am LOVING his honesty and cannot wait til he discovers meditation 🖤
As someone born and raised in New England, this album and what he’s saying about New Englanders hits home. I live in the Mid Atlantic now and it’s a very different vibe and people are very different. I definitely have that “northern attitude” when people I don’t know try to talk to me I’m like idk what to do here lol.
Born & raised in NH and moved to TX ( would not recommend) and have been dealing with the same thing! People in New England might not be the nicest but they're definitely the kindest mfers you'll ever meet.
His voice is so beautiful and the themes so resonant within me. I also stuggle with Depression and come from a small town in New England and I feel this shit so hard. I ether have experiences the thing or know someone who has. Its all very close to home. This album is my sadboi confort music.
Love these interviews, so nice to see Noah’s fan base growing so much!!!! Welcome everyone :))
I found him at the perfect time, a friend recommended False Confidence some time in 2021 and I listened to a bunch of his music, totally fell in love with Busyhead and got to ride the hype train for Stick Season. Can't wait to see what's next! Thanks for the welcome!
i discovered the new album a few days ago, its fantastic. i’ve heard his more poppy stuff and liked that too but this album feels so genuine and fitting for his voice. i would love to see him live. definitely a new favorite artist for me
Obviously, I am a full-on stan now.
I just saw Noah play in Killington during the World Cup. He absolutely killed it! Happy to have him repping my state
42:30 AND NOW HE IS A GRAMMY NOMINEEEEEE!!!!! So well-deserved
Cant believe this doesn’t have more views
Okay he mentioned Counting Crows... now I really love him! *hearts in my eyes for Noah*
his lyrics do exactly what he hoped they would for me - I relate to some very specific ones and it makes me feel so seen and heard. I’m grateful for this man and his music every day.
I just love all the stuff he says about staying safe and healthy in this job as a solo artist. I hope he keeps writing and singing for years!💖
This album so moving. I love it so much. Can’t stop listening to it
Incredible songs. This artist wrote an ALBUM. It's comprehensive. Get it, Noah.
Heard Stick Season sent to me by my sister in South Carolina. It reminder her if Ohio. I never realized we had a Stick Season as well. I fell in love with the rest of the album. Really wanna see you with Ruston Kelly!!
A year and this still heals me, noah helped me walk out of death. Never stop blessing us great maestro

This has been the best interview I've seen of Noah Kahan. Awesome, thought-provoking questions.
This is one of THE best albums
This was a fantastic interview. Great questions and thoughtful, honest answers. Love this album and Noah’s entire body of work. Thank you!
I just love it when I find an artist I wasn’t aware of! Noah is making my summer AMAZING.
“I wrote a song everyday for 2yrs, so I can’t do the math. I don’t think anyone could do that kind of math.”
It’s 730 songs

You are soo funny aswell❤❤❤
I have to say my inspiration is ande reaux classical calms our nerves
I hope he and Lewis Capaldi become friends.
Both Noah Kahan and Taylor Swift care about what their fans want to hear!
Very important X
Hearing your goal through music was surreal- you have made so many of us feel less alone in our heads.
The first time I met Noah was when he was an opener in 2018 and responded to my dm and met me in the lobby- he has always been the most humble person. Noah is phenomenal at stringing together words/thoughts/meanings that articulate the experiences of life/feelings through the lens of people who are incessantly introspective. Busyheads forever 🥲
(Also any Seattle listeners let’s have a Noah listening party asap)
My mind X
At least people won't judge me like they do here sense feel speak ear repeat xxxxxxxx

i have only ever lived in texas but i adore this album because it helps me connect to my dad who is a north-eastern boy so even though i haven’t lived these things noah’s music connects me to that residual part of my dad and his experiences that live in my bones

this is hands down the best interview i’ve watched so far, i enjoyed it so much!
Noah’s answers, the jokes at the end😭 and all the questions were so GOOD, like i really loved it
thanks so much for Zach Sang Show and Noah is literally my favorite artist, love every single song with every fiber of my being❤️🩹
Did this dude seriously predict FTX?
Serious just taken my meds ok ... I watched a documentary on the homeless in Toronto it sticks in (๑♡⌓♡๑)
Dull
17:01 i can confirm this is correct i have my appointment on the 26 for some phebs lyrics 🫶🏻
Central Vermonter hear. Randolph specifically. I love his music so much. I’m very into the soft, yet real music he makes. Also, it my personal belief that Burlington isn’t an accurate representation of vermont. There are so many little dirt road towns that have so much personality. But I’m not a city person so I guess that tracks. Much love.
PLEASE! get Holly Humberstone on here!!!!!
Why does he look so comically low down from the desk?
new englanders are not nice but they’re kind… oof so accurate 👏
I’m from Minnesota and I feel like it’s sadly the opposite here😭 i wouldn’t say people ARENT kind but they are definitely much MORE nice than they are kind…
remember watching this interview when it first came out. crazy to come back to it a year later and see how huge he and this album have become
We can all be so obsessed
That cold keeps us warm
The fact that he says Stick Season was almost not a thing makes me want to sob because it was my most listened to album and it means so much to me. And everything he says about Northern Attitude I feel it soooo much. I live in the PNW so while its west coast our weather for 9 months out of the year is cloudy, rainy, and cold. We have a very high depression rate and vitamin d deficiency
