What’s with all the hate, I guess it just has to comes with the growth it’s ****ing obviously Bruce knows what’s going on with mechanics! This is the haters mentality “ I hate this guy cause he blew up doing the same thing I’ve been doing for years, so I’ll just watch his videos and clown on every mistake possible.” A view is still a view dic. With all your views he’s now able to pay someone to come work on his stuff instead of having to do it his self. Part of the American dream. Bruce keep doing what you do bro fuck the hate it comes with the success.

I’m a tech at a dealer and I am certified in Mercedes truck engines also, I can tell you right now this dude has no fuckin idea what he’s talking about and Cojali couldn’t have picked a worse way to promote their product. We have all of the factory software and Cojali along with JPRO and neither compares to the factory software, it’s ok for aftermarket but lacks in many areas compared to factory software. There is no problem with the MCM on that Mercedes, the problem is that they can’t diagnose it correctly so they’re sending it to their toothless hillbilly friend to delete the after treatment programming from it, in all my years I’ve never seen a hole burnt completely through the doc or dpf, those low pressures are perfectly normal. Next time we see that truck it will probably be blowing black smoke and bouncing off of the rev limiter. And there is going to be a hole in the doc/dpf after they knock the internals out of it once they get the deleted mcm back. I wonder if he knows that is a very heafty EPA fine tampering with the emissions system weather it’s off road or on road? Lot’s of misinformation in this video. The only reason I posted this is because I feel that guys like this give real highly trained technicians a bad rap. You wouldn’t believe how many problems I’ve had to straighten out from guys fuckin with shit they shouldn’t be. And Jesus Christ do a proper electrical and air system diagnostic on that cab over instead of throwing parts at it.

My worry is blue collar. You've turned the fuel up way too much on an old motor. You're washing cylinder walls and starting to sling oil. It'll be the same on the airforce truck but it'll overheat also. Just look at the radiator. It's 1/2 what it needs to be for running in the south. Good Luck.

How we clean the DPF filters on Cummins is we power wash them. DONT get too close with it as you will blow the filter apart. Also when you replace the FILTER you must reset the ASH level inside the ECM otherwise it will keep reading its full.

Those air dryers are a bendix ad-9. That black cylinder is the air filter and unscrews using a breaker bar with a strap attachment once you bleed the air out of the truck. You will need to mount the bottom piece back onto frame without the black canister cap then you can get the filter off otherwise you'll never get enough leverage to get it off.

I am not sure why people are so hateful on here. I don’t think he has said he is a expert on all things about trucks. He is just a regular guy who learns as he goes. If you all hate what he does so bad why do you watch his channel? Geeze people cut him some slack. Or better yet why don’t you all try your own channel if you are such experts. I Enjoy your videos Bruce!

That fault code only indicates that a high idle regen was aborted due to low coolant temp.

These clowns will probably delete the DPF and tell the owner the ECM was bad when all it needed was a thermostat.

Your massive air leak could also be a blown air pot. I haven't seen a bad enough leak from the tractor protection valve to deplete the air system down to 50psi from 120psi. Get your buddy Austin to release the park brake and apply the brakes. See where it is leaking from, easy. You've got lots of suggestions for the DPF on that Westernstar, I won't bore you with information.

That leaking air line could be the issue, the fault code was for low coolant temp abort of high idle Regen. If that engine fan isnt disengaging all the way ot can cool down past the low level limit for regen. Repair that air line and try to get it to do a manual regen. That's most likely your issue
