Wow! This is awesome. I have the Ames poster from this concert framed and up in my garage. Got it back in 97 from the Ten Club because it looked cool and my girlfriend (now wife) is Portuguese. Great to finally watch the show.

1996 was a great year for PJ. I didn’t see any No Code shows but the excitement for that tour could be felt by every PJ fan all over the world.
I was there, I broke a rib and didn't even feel anything. Only the next day. How crazy we were, and it was so good. Now young people barely move. Long live the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s! Europe was a Paradise, Portugal is beautiful but it is also polarized now.
O melhor concerto da minha vida. Dias 24 e 25 de Novembro de 96 ficarão para sempre na minha memória. Principalmente este dia, já que fui o gajo que trocou a bandeira de portugal (1:44:00) pela harmónica. Ainda a tenho guardada num "relicário"!

When a concert was just a band playing. No special effects, fireworks or anything like that. People were there just for the music. And the music was great! And so was the audience!

I was there! The first day of concert was heavier but this day was magical and they played more songs. Foi quase ha vinte anos, que cena. Nao vi Nirvana mas consegui ver este.
Foi como eu.Queria tanto ver Nirvana e Alice in Chains, mas este concerto foi qq coisa.

Fui para Cascais no primeiro dia mas fiquei do lado de fora a ouvir, não consegui bilhetes. E nunca mais os vi. Só o Eddie Vedder em Junho.

You do know that they are still one of the biggest bands in the world. They are filling arenas like nobody's business after 30 years of being a band. Actually they are filling bigger places now than they did back in the day. They were the biggest band in the world then but now they are legendary band. There is a different dimension to it.They didn't lose anything they have only gained. Their crowd is actually bigger now than it was back then because you are there to watch LEGENDS. They've surpassed normal popularity they are now on another level.They've deserved it all. What a band!

OMG you are kidding, right?They are filling up football arenas and basketball arenas for two nights in a row. You know that right? I was there back in the day and I am still going to their concerts. I should know. What grunge voice? Eddie has Eddie's voice. That man is basically touring non stop for more than 30 years, he sounds amazing after all this years, they all are still amazing. Just because you liked something better back then that doesn't mean that everybody shares your opinion. Actually you are minority, because this band is filling Madison Square Garden two nights in a row and as i said, football arenas anywhere in the world. Just keep in mind that this band pulled out from public eye after Ten album, they didn't want to have almost any marketing, they didn't make videos for decade and then barely some, they never used any media tricks, barely no promos, nothing, and they are still one of the most beloved, respected and famous bands in the world. I don't know any band that would be this huge today after all this things they did.The amount of people going to their concert after all this years is incredible. I am sorry you feel that they are not good enough anymore but all the people on their concerts on all these arenas are very much disagreeing with you and that amount of people is huge. This band's integrity is intact, their shows to this day are legendary and massive, , they are still loved and respected unbelievably. They are legends and they deserve to be . Unparalleled band.
