I was simply meditating when I popped out of my body and started to rise up thru trees, towns and kept getting higher until I saw the Earth's curve and was beyond the upper atmosphere. Yea it’s hard to control a spin when you’re in the vacuum of space there is little to no air which means things like wings and arms and legs can’t change much because there is no air to touch to change your direction or rotation.

You mean orbit? He would have to be going at tremendous amount of speed in a perfectly sideways direction to do that :P. Going into orbit is a very very hard thing to do and basically impossible to accomplish accidentally so there would be nothing to worry about. :) the only thing that was certain was falling to earth part. The elderly gentleman sitting in the control room talking with Baumgartner is no other than Joseph William Kittinger. The first human to jump from the stratosphere at an altitude of 31,000 meters and he did it in 1960 while Baumgartner jumped from about 39,000 meters which is still well within the earth atmosphere. Space begins at the Karman line, at 100,000 meters.
