I checked my scope right after this video and found out the screws were a bit loose... Fixed it, tried it out today at the range and the grouping got A LOT tighter. Than you!
Great series of videos. Can you do one or more videos on a single line in this video: adjusting the rifle to you (on the cheap)? I just got my first bolt action rifle (Winchester XPR) that came with a scope for cheap ($650 used, maybe too cheap but just within my current budget). It does not currently fit me (I have to lift my head from ideal cheek weld). What is the best way to fix this without too much cost (remember, the rifle with scope was cheap)? Just trying out precision shooting so do not want to spend much on it until I find out if I like it but I want to have the gun set up correctly so that I am giving it a fair chance.
Anyone who gets mad at you for using loctite doesn't know "nothin' about nothin'". Screws and bolts need to be lubricated to achieve consistent torque: you can use grease for this, I do for many things that get retorqued regularly, but if you want to "set it and forget it", it's literally what blue loctite was made for. I personally use the pink (they call it purple, but that's not my purple!) because I know the scope will get transferred between guns, but you definitely want something on those threads!

Ryan has got to be one of the best things on UA-cam. I wish he put out more content!
I use a silver sharpie to check for screws backing out in various applications
Ryan just want to say thanks for all the good advise! As I get older it’s great to get reminded of things!😊
This is a good video series. I knew most of this stuff but I did learn a few things here and there.
Witness marks are beautiful 🤩
I used to use locktite but as I commonly transfer scopes between rifles, I now use Vibra Tite VC3 and it works amazing.
Hi Ryan. Could you possibly make a video on shooting mats with your recommendations?

Ryan this is the same scope that u are using in the intro of your videos ? What kind of rifle it is ?
Outstanding
Loctite keeps me from having to readjust my adjustable sights all the time.
Where can I find the tool to level the scope?
