Hi everyone! It's been a minute. Definitely needed to take a step back from social media and life. But today we have another recent reads. There were a lot of short books read and I will say, not all of them were successful. How has your reading been?

I gave One Night One Bite three stars as well and I agree. It was fine. There were interesting things in it but it wasn't what I expected.

Yeah I’m definitely willing to try more by the author but maybe something longer.

Excited to see someone else reading Countess, and same about the ending.... 😮‍💨I'm wondering where she's taking it, with a series or something?

Thinking about the Toussaint connection though... she got one better than he did, because she came back from her imprisonment half a world away... or maybe it was just sequencing: she was in prison, then in a revolution, whereas Toussaint did it the other way around... but yeah.

The Last Fairy Godmother looks so cute, it's too bad it was lackluster

It could have been so cute but unfortunately had a little too much going on. If there’s a sequel I think I will try it to see if it gets better.
