Garissa: Look What Happens When Seven Forks dams spill over to downstream

After weeks of flooding, the waters finally receded, revealing the devastating impact on the crops of Garissa farmers.
The floods devastated hundreds of farms of all sizes, leaving thousands of small-scale farmers along the River Tana in Garissa And Tana River County without means to support themselves and their families
The farmers are now calling on government and non-governmental organizations to provide them, with the necessary resources and support to resume farming activities, so they can generate income to support their families.

I propose dug up deep water trenches to reroute the spill water from the dam before it reaches the farms

High Grand falls Dam is the solution what the likes of Duale should do is to push its commencement faster as it will control the floods and they should plan to have the water piped to the northern Kenya regions that lack water.
