clearest presentation of this game I've seen yet. you did an awesome job showing everything. thanks! can't wait until my copy delivers
Thank you very much. I am from Germany but I understand you very clearly. And your presentation of a "let's play" is the best! I have seen a German let's play of the game, which is totally useless, because there you don't see what's going on the sheets. You on the other hand did a great job: Camera, your explanation and your joy of playing all are fitting perfectly together, so I can understand the game better than everywhere else! 🤗
Best wishes from Frank
@21:50, you accidentally mark 2 red instead of a double red.
Also, I think the Industrial card has been played incorrectly, but I'm only basing it off the screenshot of the sheet since I don't have it myself yet. But on the sheet, it states that you "Claim 1 unmarked space adjacent to a SCRAPPED space". It doesn't seem that you can claim a space next to another claimed space unless a scrapped space is also adjacent. Especially since scrapping reads as "Scrap 1 unmarked space adjacent to any MARKED space." Meaning you can scrap next to a scrapped or claimed space.
57:20 With the voting you don't put the one with the star on top, you put the first one you draw on top; so in this case the you drew the one without the star first so that should be on top.
The one with the star is something positive pass or fail, and the one without the star is something negative pass or fail.
Great video. First time watching Amy & Maggie, subbed to their channel
At 17:30, you claimed a commodity on the industry board not adjacent to a scrapped node, which I don’t believe is allowed
Unless I'm mistaken, beginning at 1:01:30 when Amy activates their Industry board and claims multiple assets, only the first appears to be adjacent to scrapped grid spaces, making the rest of those actions invalid, or perhaps I missed something?
Where is the dice tray from?
The dice tray is from the game Chai tea for 2. Steeped Games, the publisher, released the dice trays in a range of designs and I believe they now sell them individually.
At 22:05 when marking the AI board, you took “double material” and checked the single material twice, which I believe is not correct
when you get your 5 resources unlocked before minute 40 ... don't you actually have 7 ? 5 at the war board but extra two you've gained for building the cruisers ?
53:04 Something for the klingon subtitles: This only gives 1 strenght in the battle against your right opponent (and the other in the top left of your navigation sheet) for the left opponent.
32:29 Because you would normally be playing simultaneously, wouldn’t it be difficult to make decisions based on what your human opponent(s) are doing - wouldn’t you be more likely to just focus on the AI? Or would you peek a look at what your opponents are doing, too? Thanks.
It's more likely in a simultaneous / normal game that you wouldn't compare based on what they're doing that particular turn, but you might still evaluate what they've developed in terms of warfare so far from previous turns (it's important to keep an eye on that to ensure you can win the war). Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
@1:10:37 Shouldn't you have also been able to claim a Material or Influence on Abaddon, since the tech effects each planet you control?
I'm SO happy you two are still doing Rahdo RTs as well as your own channel. Loved the Terracotta Army review.
yup, today's a good day for A&M fans (and they've got another EXCELLENT runthrough coming on the channel tomorrow) :)
@@rahdo Ooh, the suspense! Thanks Rahdo.
Thank you so much! We love being part of the Rahdo team 🥰
