No , The Mosfet driver should be at normal temperature 30-40°c, check the connections , if there is any micro short on track that can conduct current, or maybe your mosfet driver ic is damaged
Can I use this with a 12V battery and a 6 to 220V transformer? I want to make sure using a 6V transformer instead of 7V does not bring more than 220V at the output, because maybe reducing the duty cycle using the feedback only limit and compensate this to some level.
Hello, It's best to use the Old Computer UPS Transformer, it's suitable for this project! But use only 12v ups transformer not 24V 👍 I got old ups for only $2 from the junk yard, It's cheaper than buying a new one!
That is what i was saying, Use a 6V transformer for 12V power Source , Suitable transformer for this porpoise can be found in 12v UPS, and i mentioned about Ups not battery (24V ups transformer is not usable) 👍
@@Electronic_For_You okay, I just though you misunderstood my question. so you confirm using a 6V transformer instead of 7V or 9V will not cause over voltage at the output, right?
I have been able to replicate the circuit with your assistant. I got 223 Vac as output with sine wave from 24V battery input to a 12-0v to 220 transformer. But I've not loaded it yet because I did everything on a breadboard. What I discovered is that you have to follow the circuit strictly before getting desired result. You will get around 7-8V Without a transformer, and it will be mixture of SineWave and square wave without filtering , you can try putting a 2uf capacitor for filtering in theory it should make output SineWave without any transformer before powering the circuit use a low current Supply like 12V 2-3A so if you made any mistake on connection your circuit doesn't blow up , because inverter based on EGS002 are very sensitive!
Thanks a lot. After putting a 2.2 uf at the output from the mosfets I got 9V. So I'm on course. I will work on this to get a smooth sine wave before hooking it up to a transformer. I intend to use 24V battery with a 12V transformer instead of winding a 6 0 220 transformer.
