The Exorcist - we saw this movie in 1978, in New Empire theater, Kolkata,. We were 18 friends and in 11th Standard and after writing our UPSC exam for NDA . One of most lovely film. The Girl played a beautiful role.

सर मेरे बाबा बताते थे की बहुत साल पहले लगभग 40साल पहले गांव के पूर्व में घना जंगल था हां आज नही है उनके कुछ अवशेष बचे हैं पेड़ के रूप में उस टाइम एक भूत था जिसका नाम साइबो गांव के लोगो का कहना है साइबो मतलब भूत का ग्रुप जो अपने साथ बारात लेकर चलता था बो बताते हैं दूर बहुत दूर एक बारात निकलती थीं जिसके हाथ में लालटेन होती थीं और ढोल बजाते हुए निकलती थीं जो सामने आता था बो उस बारात में शामिल हो जाता था और उनके नियम ना maane पर बो उन व्यक्ति को मार देते थे

I saw this movie some time between 1979-80 in New Delhi with a 16-17 year's boy , brother of my friend , in Delhi. It was a terrific experience.
I shown this movie my sons in late 1990 in vedio casset but it didn't have any affect of seeing the movie in theatre.
My sons didn't agree that it was a horror movie at all .

शम्स जी,एक फिल्म थी OMAN जिसके तीन पार्ट थे इसमें उस जमाने के दिग्गज सुपरस्टार Gregory peck ने भी रोल निभाया था कभी मौका लगे इसकी समीक्षा करें ताकि लोगों को पता लगे की पुरानी फिल्मे कैसे classic होती थीं 🙂

1. Novel was not written by the director. William peter blatty was the author.
2. Not all starcast was new. Ellen Burstyn and, Max Von sydov and Lee. J Cobb were pretty famous and respectable actors and were also oscar nominiees.

Yes there are movies more horrifying than this movie but I saw this movie in 2020. A very weird thing happened firstly I had mild paranormal experience like some sleep paralysis. For 2 days weird things happened with me. I prayed and drank holy water. By the way I was not aware of any background of this movie, I just saw it randomly and I was not even scared after watching this movie but weird things happened after watching this movie. I saw one series Jeffrey Dahmer so I noticed in the entire series at his home. This movie was played constantly in the background. I just had a very negative experience with this movie.
