What a amazing and remarkable story. People need to hear these stories what Our Veterans went through for Our Fréedom. Freedom is Not Free! They paid the price and sacrificed. Thank you David Welton for sharing your Dad's story with us. At the end I started to tear up. This is something you can share with your kids and grandkids etc. Alot of Our Veterans have passed and their stories went with them. Larry thank you for the interviews you have done. Their stories need to be heard especially today, with what is going on. David Welton I know you are so proud of your Dad and what he went through and once again thank you for sharing his story. Thank you 1st LT. Barney Welton for your services. You Will Never Be Forgotten. God Bless 🙏🇺🇸
Teri, such a heartwarming comment about Barney Welton. He was so proud of his service during WWII. He is gone today, like most of my veterans, but, not forgotten. I too am grateful for his son, David, sponsoring his Father's story. Now the whole world has access to what he experienced as a young 1st Lieutenant pilot on a C-47 Transport plane. The most amazing thing to me about his 130 missions was transporting holocaust survivors back from the death camps in Germany. What a story that is. God bless you Teri!!
James, thank you for watching my interview with Barney Welton. With our freedoms at stake, his story vitally important and needful for us to hear today as a country, especially with our children and grandchildren. Please feel free to share. God bless you!!
Interesting interview, Larry. My dad was too young for WWII; but, he was in Korea during that conflict helping to keep the pilots in the air. Have you heard of Benjamin Ferencz? He was just 22 years old when he landed in Normandy. His story is interesting. I just watched a video that was made by Ashton Gleckman in 2020. This guy is 101 now and is the oldest living prosecutor at the Nuremberg trials. In the video he says he is 100 years old ;and that was in 2020. The video is 15 minutes long; but, a lot of information is packed in it.
Donna, thank you for watching my interview with Barney Welton. He is truly a treasure to this world and his family. Please email me information about the 15 minute video.
Wow, the way this man ended his amazing story. Was absolute perfection. What a great man. And a true American hero. Thank you sir.
Thank you for your service.
