Small correction: It's not building speed that determines the amount of valor you gain, it's building progress. If you equip a bunch of building speed perks and items, you will get valor points very fast.
It's a shame this game has such a pointlessly overcomplicated in- match progress system. And the spit in the face where xp progression and titles are NOT class wide. If you make a second cleric, congratulations. You are now level 0 again. Did you just slave away at building 240 structures for 80+ matches? Well congratulations, you have to do it again to gain the title benefits of doing so. Basically, fork you. This is what stopped me from buying the battle pass and supporting this otherwise fun game 🥲 Don't spit in player's faces.

The cleric’s grenade launcher really helps out against the catapult too
