I dont know about UFOs but extraterrestrials are certainly mentioned in the bible. The whole book is about a being that created Earth. How can you be the creator of Earth if you're from Earth?

Our society sees itself as too englightened to consider that the tales of our ancestors have any truth to them. Really the only thing that seperates us is technology. It's not like we are more rational than we used to be.
Just my thoughts: I’d imagine we are much more mentally trained nowadays since the amount of stimuli, things you interact with where ur brain is on, is higher. On top of that, the amount of info we have coupled with the quality of that data allows us to make incredibly accurate predictions about the world we live in. My point is we aren’t guessing as much as we used too, not even close.Think about all the religions throughout history, thousands of them! Is it more likely one of these is true or that they are all the same guesses attempting to explain the world we inhabit before the advent of science (which is intentional observation over long periods of time). When you sit here and posit aliens, or gods, you have all your work ahead of you to prove any of it. None of it it required to explain us, how we are here, or what to expect moving forward. UAP Believers are riding the edge of religious ideology at this point.

The default position is skepticism the minute anyone makes a claim of anything out of the ordinary. The burden of proof is entirely on the person making the claim to demonstrate that their claim is true. The skeptic does not actually have to 'do' anything. In that respect, the Turkey UFO has failed the skeptic test because at no time has the claimant provided any evidence to prove that a non-human craft is being observed.
Debunking is more a case of skeptics using the available data to demonstrate that the observed phenomenon is most likely not what is being claimed. The debunk position is one of ' Is it not more likely that object xyz is a balloon, or a meteor, or a bird, etc, etc '. In other words, the debunker is saying ' Look, here's a bunch of more likely explanations for this event than it being aliens from the Pleiades '. So debunkers do not necessarily all have to agree on one hypothesis....though with the more obvious cases they often do.
So although there is no single debunker position on the Turkey UFO, the one thing you can be sure of is that every debunker considers their explanation a more likely one than visitation by aliens. So no, there's no 100% perfect explanation for the object, but I am 100% convinced it is not aliens.
UA-cam is full of blurry videos where nobody could possibly ever 'prove' it's not an alien craft. It seems to me to be a bit ass-backward to use that as criteria for a 'best UFO' when it is solely a criterion of 'shoddy video that nobody could ever identify'.

The bible was written by people who didn't even know that the Earth is round. Copernicus was raged against after he claimed that the Earth is actually spinning around the Sun and not the opposite. He died (found on his bed with lots of drugs, y'all know that story) before he was able to publish his book about the Solar System. The bible or non of the other "holy" religious books out there knows shih about the universal structure at all. Those books literally thought that this planet is the centre of the universe. If the whole of civilization collapses, say cause of a worldwide flood, and you are one the few survivors, the surviving generations after you, will have lost all knowledge and will have to start from zero. And if they try to describe events that happened before them, maybe this is exactly how those events and stories would be described from one surviving generation to the next.

I think you misunderstood my comment, what I said was suppose some kind of major event happens that results in the collapse of our modern civilization. Nothing would be left, no knowledge, everything would be gone. Then by trying to transfer whatever knowledge you can from generation to generation, you can only do this through stories, based on your understanding, and this would degrade through generations, until all is lost but some strange weird stories, and we'd have to start anew. Maybe this is exactly what happened and those past civilizations were far more advanced than we give them credit for. At least they left us a few monuments, in our digital world, there would be nothing left.

I heard a good theory on why it's all so heavily classified and why there is so much disinformation coming out of the US Government. That theory is that these things, are obviously real, but the US Government has been unsuccessful in back engineering the recovered ones to any significant degree, but they want to convince Russia and China that they are really black US technology and that we have successfully back engineered them. Because, whatever country does back engineer them first, it's game over for every other country.

Just checked it out, it’s not a helicopter (or a UFO). If you look at Egyptian hieroglyphs you can see all sorts of things if you let your imagination go wild. Amusingly it is in the temple of SETI though! 🤣😂

Religion is but just a belief structure and a belief is often distant from any facts. A Belief is an acceptance that something exists or is true, especially one without proof......( especially one without proof. To willingly substitute a belief as a truth and a fact is utter ignorance no matter how many believe in the same type of things e.g. flat earthers
That's what angers me. The very sacred document they are sworn to tell the truth by, is full of truths they lie about! No matter what faith, sacred texts are of gods, angels, crafts, and battles in the skies.

Evidence is in one of the most secure vaults in the World, at the Vatican. That is why only a selected few have access to ALL areas of the vaults.

Maybe...Somebody knows facts about UFOs that could cause tremendous upset in this world's population. For example, how to totally stop using oil, i.e., how to make a couple of billion peoples' industry obsolete and unwanted. How to stop needing nuclear and hydroelectric power plants, idling another few million. How to visit distant planets and have a close look at the stars they're orbiting. It's all speculation, of course. It's no more rational to believe that those things just pop into Earth's atmosphere than to believe the fantastic idea that they're made here. Anyway, it seems that satellites would be the most interesting thing about Earth if you were an alien from some other world, but we don't see any "out there."

There is also the Miracle of the sun or Miracle of Fatima in 1917.. when the sun emitted dazzling colors and careened towards Earth.. verified by the Vatican as a miracle. i've known this since the first time i read the bible. there are many areas of the bible churches shy away from, or go to great lengths to explain away, as a last ditch effort some just label things demons to discourage study in those areas.

There is a book, left out of the king James bible, and other versions. Called the book of Enoch, he describes going up into heaven, and from the description it sounds like walking through the rooms in a spaceship, he describes the rooms and the view of all the rivers on earth out of a window. 11 copies of The book of Enoch were found in the dead sea scrolls, so it must have been an important story to spread 2 thousand years ago, or great fiction?!?

This conversation is depressing… it got really bad when she said “the disciples followed the star to Bethla-ham”. I mean, I’m not exactly at Oxford studying biblical history but I seem to remember it was the Magi who followed the star to Bethlehem. The disciples couldn’t because they were either kids or not born yet.
2:25 wow, it was the wisemen that followed the star to Bethlehem. It was not His disciples. Jesus was a toddler. He did not even start His ministry until he was 30 years old. There is a good documentary about this that was put together by a lawyer. It is about an hour long but does reveal some truly astronomical information in just how much effort God put into creation for our benefit.
As a Christian myself, I've already accepted the fact that my God is an NHI. Arguably even E.T. considering He is not from this Earth, let alone this dimension/ realm/ what have you. Angels are also a form of NHI. Some may take human form, but the intelligence behind them is not that of human.
I think what this phenomenon is, is a mixture of things. There are clear instances of angelic interactions, and there are clear instances of evil interactions. Some of it may actually be extra terrestrial, likely a very small percent due to the hardships of space travel. Some of it may be something that has been living alongside with us. I can't say for certain, but it's going to be a weird ride.
What you believe might be true regarding interdimensional or parallel universes aka kingdom of God...but there are also extraterrestrial people/creatures from other worlds in our own realm.
@James-og6cx 100% I did mention that in the second half of my comment, some of the phenomenon is E.T. I just believe it's a smaller percentage due to the difficulties of space travel. Unless there are worm holes between our planets, or they use quantum entanglement to "teleport" distances.
