This is the coolest hobby! And I love seeing your art come to life! Can I give a little pro tip? That little hole on the side at the tip of your punch needle... The yarn needs to go through that hole as well :) So thread up through the side hole and down, grab the yarn and pull :) So it should go through the inner tube and out the SIDE hole, not straight out the tip :) Also, mod podge is wonderful for sealing the back! AND you can turn these into wall art/tapestry’s if you don’t want worry about ruining them on the floor 🥰🥰 KEEP UP THE FUN!!!

Be careful with hand pain! Taking breaks to stretch your hands and body when you start to hurt is important so you don’t hurt yourself and make it harder to craft in the future! I gave myself stress injuries in my hands earlier this year and I’ve had to be really careful since.

omg I am obsessed with that alien girl rug - it is fucking incredible - please consider opening an online store one day, I would 100% be a customer. If the whole like etsy store - having to make and send stuff out seems like too much stress maybe-please-possibly consider putting some of your designs on t-shirts - my husband sells his art on clothing that is all printed & shipped via a thirdparty & it's pretty low stress because you don't have to handle the payments/printing/shipping directly - I would honestly rock the fuck out of any of your designs on a sweatshirt or tshirt

Try a felt backing for the next rugs it may protect them more than the thin interfacing :) I cant wait to see more of your work!

Yesss that looks amazing, I've also found tufting a rewarding experience! If you want to make your loops look more uniform in size and 'neater' (if that is what you're into) i find it helpa to nail gun your fabric real tight instead of using the nails. It holds way better and tighter! You can cut the cloth off or just use a nail remover to remove/put backing etc! Just what I've found but art is in your hands! Do whatever feels/looks the best to you 💕
