My 2 cents regarding gates/towers; don't like them =). Mainly because they seemingly don't give xp/lvlups to the guards. Some of the buffs you can get atleast sounds strong, like +50% accuracy. My usual build style is fort. gates for walls (very min/max and a bit fiddly setting up but also a lot more hp than walls) with 1 guard with a bow manning it to draw aggro and remove the "empty" icon =). My defense is normally a HQ in each corner (and perhaps 1 in the middle of each side if the base is big. Allows to instant move squads to defend against swarms and/or remove workers for temp squads if needed. Also allows your defenders to rearm if needed. Lastly the polearm is actually great early game for swarm defense. While the range is short if you can lure the infected to where they are they will chop them up quickly. if I understand the stats correctly they seem to be the most damaging weapon in the game (again at a cost of range which doesn't matter that much against infected). And lastly they don't require ammo =).
The real world maps alone make this game super interesting.... Been watching all your videos on this so far and i just noticed on your SF build this whole pick your real map thing. On the other hand, the radio tower is killing me that it's smaller than the buildings around it. Completely makes no realistic sense. Have them be able to build on top of larger buildings. Thanks for all the UA-cam info, I've always been curious about doing this in my spare time, but I don't have much of it honestly. I am a super detailed player myself and pride myself on great gameplay, i can't watch people that make constant mistakes and bad optimization. Hence i found people like yourself... Probably sounds like leet speak but I just got to satisfy my OCD ya know?
@@TacticatGamingyou should take a look, it's a hard game to master, keeping your tribe alive and expanding, alot of gaming mechanicsto it. Its a fairly relaxed game though.
The echoing cry of chicken and pulsating tubes will forever haunt the depths of my subconscious. What innocence I once had is forever drowned in the abominations I have just witnessed. I’ll get over it :p - lmao
The Game doesn't equip your Squads with better Weapons automatically. You have to do it manually. If one of your Squad member is hurt, you can heal them manually with a medic kit.
Why turn off Story events? How are you ever going to deal with the Vaccine Quest if events are turned off? It's so much more fun with Story Events now more has been added
Came for the gameplay and stayed for the awesome commentary! Couldn't agree more about Manor Lords
Dude don't sell yourself short your content is amazing
I found the live stream just in time to hear you say goodnight… 😂🎉😂

The maps are exactly what drew me to this game.
