In Korea, I'd personally seen a lot of ladies with varying ages loving the program because they like seeing handsome foreigners acting cutely, aside from simply because the show is fun.
there are episodes with girl guest representatives too. but u are right there has been a lot of males. I think it is because they wanted to market for the female audiences.
It is common thing in South Korea. I think even women feel comfortable when watching show hosted by only men. But these days things are changed. Now women said a lots of complaint like you.

저기에 출연하려는 사람들이 우연찮게 대부분 남자들만 지원했을수도 있잖아요? 출연하려는 여자들이 많이 없는거 같아요. 여성 출연자도 몇번나왔었다. 예능이다보니까 재밌어야 하는것도 있다. 그런면에선 남자들이 나을수도?
