I love Mike and will always listen, but when you admit that you don't watch the regular season and you make proclamations like "Boston's defense is overrated" you might end up looking kind of dumb. I'm surprised Mike fell into the trap that most hot take analysts do who cover the NBA and shade this Boston team.
Boston's had too many deep playoff runs with this Tatum/ Brown team just to come up short again. If they can't get it done this year, it's never happening.

Dallas should be favored and should win. Two top 12 players and the supporting cast is young and very athletic. They're athletic freaks. They're tested. Also Kidd > Mazzulla.
I think if Porzongus plays every game a little bit limited Celtics win in 7, if he plays without restriction Celtics in 6, If he plays very restricted time wise Mavs in 7, if he misses any games Mavs in 6
Why would porzingis be a bad matchup when he’s not any better than Gobert who was the defensive player of the year in who they just beat in the last round. Won’t be a factor especially since he hasn’t played in 5 weeks.
Rudy Gorbert cannot stretch the floor and shoot at a high clip like Porzingus can. That along with his ability to cause a problem in the paint defensively makes him a catchup problem.
@DiceyJJ Yeah, I know. He's got a ton of money. He definitely worked hard and deserves what he has, but most of us can't do most of the things he does, and I don't think he understands that. He's been well off financially for so long that he's lost touch with reality and how this economy is killing the middle class and poor people of the country.

Celtics are -225 series favorites to beat the Mavericks in the NBA Finals... since 1990, teams listed at -200 or higher to win the finals are 21-3.
