Looks like Amanda got a New Mustang, very nice. I ran and drove one of those cranes for years, one was a Grove and the other one was a Pettibone. This is the same way Dan they install a fiberglass swimming pools when they can't get to the back yard. Those Big Cranes are not cheap to rent, Time is Money !😁
The Stang is actually Amanda's son's car. The crane owner did say he just bought this crane from out in PA about a month ago...was cool to see in action and no, not cheap...lol 😀 👍 🍻
You get an idea of how big that tree is when they put the cut "branch" down on the street and just that piece would have been a fairly good size tree by itself. Trees are great to have around but they can be a maintenance headache too. Roots in underground plumbing and utilities, falling limbs, and the end of life stuff like this. I will be it took one heck of a long time to rake the leaves in that back yard every year.
Seems like a few good limb wood going in the chipper but it's all about getting in and out quickly, I seen on This Old House once the lifted the whole tree into the street with a crane and out it right onto the log trailer a few years back and it was a huge crane as the trunk was over 40" across and I'm not sure how tall but it was big....awesome job Dan
Nice work Dan! Crane jobs are the best, takes most of the grunt work out of the job! I’ve ridden the hook quite a few times myself, maybe they’ll take you for a ride next time!!
I like your new video today you did a really good jop me and my wife are not together anymore so i do get my son anymore put i am doing ok love your video buddy 🍺🍺
It was at risk of coming down on the house. You'll see in next video the whole base of the tree was cracked and the right wind or even snow load this winter may have broken it off onto the house.
Just another Michigan arborist but putting Company together over next couple months Motor City tree service will be the new channel its just tony r right now
That was some big wood hahahaha!! That was the only way to remove that tree!! Can't wait to see pt. 2! Stay safe my friend!! 🍻🍻👍😀
Just like they do a majority of trees out west in the suburbs. Cool vid and well edited. WST
Nice and safe! I was hoping to see Shifty swinging from the hook! Maybe in the next episode.
Me on the hook....ahhh no, not unless it's only about 5 feet off the ground! Hahaha 😀 👍 🍻
Smooth precision work! That chipper is a beast! 🪵👍🏼🇺🇸
Yeah it was cool to see how smooth the operator of the crane was bringing those limbs up and over & then placing them down on the ground.😀 👍 🍻

@@Back40Firewood Thanks Dan for the Info ! 😉🏴☠🏴☠😎
Looks like fun Shifty! Hopefully you get to keep all those small diameter logs that are piling up by the chipper! 👍🏻👍🏻B🆒
Oh yeah there was a reason I was setting some of those logs aside...lol 😀 👍 🍻
hi there nice work of a big tree john
Thanks...was crazy how some of the limbs looked like whole trees being lifted out...lol...lots of wood! 😀 👍 🍻
Guinness is good, whiskey is gooderer 👍😀
Never seen a tree 🌳 removed like that before. I would have been a nervous home owner! 😂
It was pretty crazy & fun. The home owner left for most of the day...lol...I would've as well. 😀 👍 🍻
Cool job to be a part of. I bet that crane adds a bit of money to the removal!!
Yeah, it's a slight add on to the cost...lol....but definitely needed for something like this. 😀 👍 🍻

truly amazing!
Those left over tree branches look to be good food for Dan's Japa 315.
Ohh yeah....I snagged a few to take home with me to feed it. 😀 👍 🍻
@@Back40Firewood Don't tell Amanda 😁

It does make it a lot easier getting the wood to the chipper...lol...no, there's little chance you'll ever see my up there for a ride! Hahaha 😀 👍 🍻
That's a big tree. Will make lots of firewood. Would be cool to be on a job with a big crane like that
Yeah there definitely was a lot of wood in this tree....was a lot of work but also fun to see in person and be part of.
That was wicked
First! Thats gonna be a big job to remove that big of a tree with that big of a crane.
Yes indeed it sure was...lotta tree there! lol 😀 👍 🍻
Cool! One big one big crane. Must have been really cool to see it in person.
It was awesome seeing it in person and watching it operate...very impressive. 😀 👍 🍻
Nice job
Wow cool!
You take a ride on that crane hook Dan? Pretty sure I already know the answer!😆
Hahahahahahaha....no chance! 😀 👍 🍻
That would be pretty funny I would probably do that lol! 👍👍😆
Lot of firewood!!!
Yeah....lots & lots once the base gets split up plus all the bigger limbs! 😀 👍 🍻
I bet it was fun to help out
It was....both fun and a lot of work...lol 😀 👍 🍻
Looked like a fun job to be on. I definitely dont want to know thw cost of this job..😊👍
Yes, it was a blast...even though I could barely move the next day....was a good reminder I'm getting old!! Hahaha 😀 👍 🍻
Nice. You really need to invest in a 16' Trailer...
It's crossed my mind a few times....someday, maybe. lol 😀 👍 🍻
I like your new video today you did a really good jop me and my wife are not together anymore so i do get my son anymore put i am doing ok love your video buddy 🍺🍺
Sorry to hear this Travis. God bless
Ohh my Travis...sorry to hear that. Hope you're doing alright and things work out for the better. 😀 👍 🍻
Yes i doing miss my son buddy 🍺🍺
Why would they take down that beautiful tree?
It was at risk of coming down on the house. You'll see in next video the whole base of the tree was cracked and the right wind or even snow load this winter may have broken it off onto the house.
This is somewhat like what Guilty of Treeson from Seattle, Wa. does.
Yep, was thinking the same thing....only they don't have so many stems and branches all over place like the canopy of this Maple had...lol
Hi Shifty how do brother looks time consuming just curious how long job took
Crane was driving away at around 1:30
@@RickF1558 that's awesome for that size and conditions great job
@@tonyr6190 Thanks man! Is this T the tree tamer?
Just another Michigan arborist but putting Company together over next couple months Motor City tree service will be the new channel its just tony r right now
Left a lot of meat there to be tossed into the chipper lol
What was wrong with the tree?
The base was split/cracked...at risk of breaking and landing on house. You'll see in the next video how the trunk was split. 😀 👍 🍻
