Sir Patrick Moore - Selsey Remembers

Sir Patrick Moore was on first name terms with NASA scientists. His maps of the moon were used by the Russians on their unmanned lunar mission. He was knighted for his devotion to science. But for all his global appeal he will perhaps be most keenly missed in a small corner of West Sussex. He moved to Selsey because the skies were clear and it was the best place for star-gazing. He made it his home for decades. Caroline Richardson has been talking to the friends and neighbours who will miss him most.
