Because of Frank (and Marcus) i bought a piano a year ago. One of my best decisions in life. Helps me really to get zoned in, relax and not be bothered about anything else. Thanks Frank! Keep up the great work!

Here I am holding my sustain pedal down unknowingly, and then by the end of the video "for the love of all that is good for this planet, please don't practice Arpeggios with your pedal" 😂😂 I had to go hide after that 🙈
I’ve gotten advice about using your wrists to your advantage & rotating them from UA-cam & my college piano professor, but I was recently looking into avoiding injury & carpal tunnel & it stressed to not move your wrists so I’m confused on what the right technique is…☹️ Personally I like to be fluid & move a lot especially when I’m playing expressively, I don’t like the idea of holding my hand/wrist in one position

Same here
Piano is like a Healing Tool man
if you can play it slowly, you can play it quickly
ratio
slow is smooth, smooth is fast.
and so the entire twosetviolin audience has been summoned

I don't even play piano but I enjoyed watching this mini-lesson. It makes me want to get a keyboard just so I could try it out!
it is a long term decision and discipline , take it seriously.
or just get one for fun geez
@@OneStepToday, As a 70 year old, I don't have many long term decisions to make! :)

Do you know why not? Is he saying it's too distracting to practice with?
@@sawssman965It will cover your mistakes
it sounds good even if you're not doing it smoothly, so you would be content with it
thanks
Yes!
The best advice I've heard is from Jordan Rudess in the video "Jordan Rudess Teaches Arpeggios".
I wish i could get private lessons from him.
I figured out to stop using the pedal on my practice arpeggios recently. I wish I had seen your video a few years ago 🤣

can i do arpeggios with 1 2 4 cuz you do but u're not hitting the keys like i do u're not doing G triad
Why no pedal??
Why not practice arpeggios with the pedal?
Because it masks your mistakes, hides clarity.
Why not use pedal?
It's cheating!
I wanted to learn the long arpeggio from unravel animenz arr. And i never touched a piano😂
Why is there a massive chatbox on the screen lol
