Hi! Yes, snorkeling is definitely better in Surin! The Surin trip also has more snorkeling stops, while the Similan trip has more beach time. So it all depends on what you enjoy more. We personally loved our Similan trip but enjoyed Surin a bit more because of the snorkeling.
