Cenozoic Predator pack - Megalodon, Smilodon, Argentavis, Cave Bear
Cenozoic Herbivore pack - Woolly Mammoth, Megatherium, Woolly Rhino, Doedicurus

If it does come next week, I'm curious to see what could be in it. Besides the Megalodon possibly.
Hopefully this isn't the last DLC yet. Cause it should take plenty of time to make one big update and expansion pack that'll be perfect as a send off for this game getting new content.

@nostalgia.dude. spiecies I would love to see to but 2 of them being the herbivore I would of had in a cretaceous herbivore pack since we have a predators but if the 2 herbivore do get a end up in giant pack for a herbivore theme pack I would add Microceratus to add the last on screen dino, Ornithomimus feather look good on it, Tarchia and Lambeosaurus

I feel like a Cenozoic pack is likely, though there's also a possibility for something like Apex Predators or something. Still, given how many of the packs center around a certain time period, Cenozoic does seem like a good bet at the moment. I don't know how I'd feel about it. I think getting non-Mesozoic creatures is cool, but they just feel so incredibly outnumbered that it doesn't feel quite balanced. Still, I know Megalodon is one that people have been excited for, so I'm curious to see what else gets bundled into a pack along with it.
Also: Hooray for the "secret channel"! (Gotta say, the reveal is just a tiny bit less dramatic since you let the title slip AGES ago in a Coral Island video... Also because I'm on your Patreon.) But even so, I'm very very excited to see it coming to life! And so, so glad that it's finally coming together. Has engineering finally achieved what evolution mastered millions of years ago? Looking forward to seeing it launch!!!!

I don’t think this is gonna be the final DLC, we’ll get one more after this, but including Cenozoic Fauna will be a major part of the inevitable 3rd Jurassic World Evolution game.

I really do think this upcoming pack is a Cenozoic Species Pack which will include the Smilodon alongside the Megalodon, given the fact the past three DLC’s have all included at least one missing Camp Cretaceous species in them, I can’t see them breaking that trend now, it’s also important to consider that this pack will be coming out just before the new series Chaos Theory starts, Frontier clearly want to complete the roster of Camp Cretaceous creatures in the game before its sequel starts adding new ones.

To be fair though, the Secret Species Pack had two species in it whose models were already pretty much perfect from the first game and a third species that just need updating, so that might explain the quick turn around for this upcoming species pack, it might also explain why we didn’t get a free update with it, because they were to busy focusing on this new DLC.
I would like to think that it's either something with plateosaurus, microceratus.. or something with mammoth, smilodon , terror bird. Hopefully the latter because it will give modders new rigs to work with. Plateosaurus would be much easier to mod onto the game than a smilodon at this point
i dont think theyre releasing this one sooner due to the secrets species dlc controversary, i think they have something planned in june
I just hope that we could possibly see a Expansion DLC before the next Jurassic Styled Park Builder Game.
Packs this could reasonably be compilation (assuming this being Megalodon) and possible species for the pack:
Cenozoic pack: Smilodon and friends. The mammals await. Or maybe non-mammals. With Megalodon, a Terror bird and Smilodon, Smilodon could be the only mammal
grandfathered in by canon, with the last slot being a cenozoic reptile or a giant (flying) bird, making it the Dimetrodon of the Cenozoic.
Fish pack: Interesting fish. Leedsichthys, Orthacanthus, and Helicoprion would make pretty likely accomplices to the big shark.
Shark pack: Okay, Helicoprion can be here too, alongside the eagle shark and probably Hybodus, since we don't have a small shark yet and "shark" is a genre of creature now.
Big and Small pack: Microceratus, Argentinosaurus, Hatzegopteryx, whoop whoop, I suppose!
Fan favourites pack: ...Same as above.
Big pack: Micro is out, some other big thing is in. Lets say Shantungosaurus since that one is somewhat requested.
Coast pack: We join Megalodon with a Pterosaur, an island dinosaur, and either a plus one in one of those categories or finally another small ish marine reptile, maybe a marine croc this time.
South America pack: Some popular Meg fossils come from South America (I believe the Megalodon nursery is there) so, South America time! We are joined by some South American creatures,
god knows what they could possibly go for. Most famous missing species from here are Mussaurus, Argentinosaurus and Saltasaurus, but a Sauropod + shark pack would be weird.
(Other) Area packs: Megalodon lived worldwide, apparently, so maybe this could be one. I am gonna just skip these.
More teeth pack: Animals with many teeth. A Hadrosaur (either Shant or Lambeosaurus but preferably the former), a Spinosaur (Irritator) and Pterodaustro get to be my best guess.
Bigger teeth pack: Animals with big teeth. Smilodon is in, "Some Gorgonopsid" is on the menu, and because chaos, lets go with a wooly mammoth for the final slot.
Water cycle pack: Animals representing the water cycle. Meg is water in the ocean. We get an animal for water rising into the atmosphere (Rhamphorhynchus), an animal for rain/rivers (Irritator?),
and a brackish water representative (Deino/Sarcosuchus). Grasping at straws.
Jawed pack: Animals notable for their jaws. Heterodontosaurus joins Smilodon AND Microceratus, again. Replace that last one with Pterodaustro if its too much of a cheat. Or Procompsognathus
if you want to be funny.
Lagoon Pack 2: Three new lagoon animals. Tanystropheus (using the rocks), Platecarpus (glows in the dark) and Dolichorhynchops are in this one.
Chaos Theory Pack: Surprise, Meg is here because it's in chaos theory. Metriacanthosaurus, Smilodon and something third, whatever, join it.
M Pack: Animals whose name starts with M. Microceratus is back yet again. Microraptor joins! Finally, we have.... Macroplata. Why not.
Jerry's choice pack: Jerry got to pick four animals. I don't know them, only Jerry does.
Big animal pack: Animals who "are big versions of modern animals". Megalodon, Deinosuchus, Megalania, Titanoboa. Comes with Mayonaise sauce on top.
Movie monsters pack: Animals who are or stand in for movie monsters. Megalodon is here for Jaws, Gigantopithecus sneaks in for King Kong, Tusoteuthis is the squid from many fathoms, and
Livjatan is Moby Dick.
Cryptid pack: Animals who are extinct, but some people believe aren't. Megalodon is joined by the Thylacine, Gigantopithecus again, and the token pack weirdo in either Sinraptor or Bajadasaurus.
Fisheater pack: Megalodon, a Pterosaur, a Spinosaur, and a marine reptile. Lets say Trinacromerum.
Caretaker pack: Animals known to have taken care of their young. Citipati, Hadrosaurus and Saltasaurus get to join this one.
Rivals pack: Megalodon and Livjatan join alongside fellow iconic rival duo, Smilodon and Titanis. Or somebody else, I don't know. I hear Nanotyrannus has some beef with Nedoceratops.
Famous tooth pack: Animals made famous by their teeth. Meg, Helicoprion, Stegoceras and Heterodontosaurus are here. Or maybe Smilodon but that feels like cheating.
Clam namesake pack: Animals who share their names with a clam. Not even gonna bother trying to look for any with this one.
Sharkeater pack: Animals who can feed on the sharkfeeder. Rhomaleosaurus, Deinosuchus and a Plotosaurus who looks like its been run through a carwash themed saw trap are here.
B-movie headliners pack: Animals who were the main monster in a b-movie. Fasolasuchus, Smilodon again, and Titanoboa are here.
Leftovers pack: Megalodon, Microceratus, Smilodon, Segisaurus.
Worldwide pack: Animals found far around the world! Cynognathus, Hybodus and Stenopterygius can chill here.
Animals mentioned in the Sopranos pack: Brontosaurus, Megalodon as usual, Smilodon and the Dodo bird.
Open Sea pack: Megalodon, Metriorhynchus, Peloneustes, Temnodontosaurus.
Mega pack: Megalodon, Meganeura, Megalania, Megatherium.

managed to jump on land, straight into a tree. Why did Indominus know Raptor speech? Turns out wild Microraptor had lived on Isla Nublar all along and they just so happen
to speak the same language as Velociraptors some-fucking-how.
Genome filler pack: Turns out Megalodon was part of the Indominus genome. Rugops, Deinosuchus, and three other random Abelisaurs are in this pack (they share a model but still cost extra)
Memorial pack: On May 28th, Frontier celebrates the 207th birthday of Jean Louis Rudolphe Agassiz. A second statue, depicting him, is added next to the Hammond one in the free update, and
four species he named get included in a DLC. "We wanted to go for Mary Anning or William Buckland instead, but we kinda included most of their interesting stuff", a tearful
Frontier representative stated. Included in this pack are the mighty Megalodon, the armored Stagonolepis, the strange Ptychodus, and the famous Hybodus. The statue will be
removed by August in accordance to all of his other statues also being removed because the guy was apparently racist as shit, unsurprisingly.
Star pack: Famous animals. Megalodon, Smilodon, wooly mammoth, wooly rhino. Basically a cenozoic pack in all but name.
Pliocene pack: Get fucked Smilodon we're doing mammals but not you; we're doing Titanis, Megatherium and the American Mastodon but not you; whole gang is here but you're not, RIP LMFAO
Miocene pack: American Mastodon, uh. You know they're not doing a fucking Miocene pack why are you even reading this far

A "Prehistoric Sharks" pack could be cool. I'd love to have Helicoprion and Stethacanthus (even if they technically weren't sharks).

Agreed,would definitely improve the game and add so much flavor to it.

I think frontier sensed the dissapointment amongst the community for the secret species pack, and I think this is what they were really working on. They probably started this one pre-February, and thought since this one was gonna take more time than usual, than they betted appease the community with an in-between pack, which became the hybrids pack.
To add, I don't much like the idea of a cinezoic pack, but I'll still get it for the Megalodon
If I was able to do something different, Id have a Lagoon pack, seperate from a Marine pack but also new elements, like beaches so land animals can swim in the lagoons and levels to determin how shallow or deep the lagoons can be. If it were me, I'd have a Prehistoric Shore's pack, with the including

Given the fact they've put megalodon on the forefront of the teaser instead of a smilodon or mammoth, it's most likely the case that we're getting a prehistoric fish pack containing megalodon and 3 other extinct fish. Knowing the fandoms demand and the popularity of these species I'm betting the other species will be helicoprion, xiphactinus and leedisicthys.

I'm not against mammals or avian birds coming to the game. But they do really stand out from what we've been getting for the entire game's lifespan.
Imo, 4 animals is not nearly enough to introduce a completely different time period with completely different animals. We need atleast
8 to give Cenozoics the best chance to fit in, especially if Frontier doesn't plan on any more or if this is the last ever DLC.
Yes, i know we've got Paleozoic animals, but i feel the same way about them too. Dimetrodon and Lystrosaurus are canon so i guess they can get away with it. But Dunkleosteus is completely on it's own, i'd rather have Devonian fish co-exist with other Paleozoic creatures rather than Marine Reptiles.

Still holding to the Cenozoic prediction. The last 3 DLCs in a row have been adding missing CC creatures; Nothosaurus in Marine, Tarbo in Predator, and Spinoceratops in Secret Pack. What would be the next logical step? Smilodon in a Cenozoic pack. What gets teased? Megalodon, a Cenozoic animal...

I honestly doubt it's a Cenezoic pack. I'm still not convinced Frontier are willing to give us any mammals given how much they'd stick out against the dinosaurs and therapsids, regardless of the smilodon being in CC.
My guess would probably be that it's a fan-favourite pack including the species that have been most requested by the community (besides smilodon). That would probably be megalodon, microceratus and segisaurus, most likely along with a new flier but I'm not sure what that would be - maybe archaeopteryx, or another gigantic pterosaur like quetz (along with a free update allowing them to walk, please!)
I'd still be thrilled to be proven wrong. I'd love if Frontier uncorked the bottle for mammals, that would give us so many opportunities for new species. I am also really desperate for them to add microceratus and segisaurus though lol. Come onnnn, we need the last two species from the movie canon!
