This is beautiful! Like three bands playing distantly related songs at once, but they magically speak to one another across wide oceans of sound. I can hear each of the three bands distinctly, or I can listen to a solo, or I can hear a funk groove, or I can engage the lyrics, or I can do all at once...or I can just follow the endless imagination of Ornette's sax. Just beautiful!
Welcome my musical friends to Harmelodics...Ornette's form/composition of melody and harmony playing EQUAL parts, in this case- two trios of guitar, bass and drums playing separately, yet together, plus percussion and etc... With The Master Ornette gliding over all of it!
What a gem for hip hop and jazz fans alike

Thanks! I Love this idiom that ornette invented. Id also recommend the Ronald Shannon Jackson and the decoding society
Criminally underrated album. Wiillfully ignorant 'fans' of the hip-hop & jazz genres didn't listen to this album to their detriment.
There are no words to express the" Impact" that is the Music of Ornette Coleman...Maestro !!!!!
