Sagittarius is the ninth sign of the zodiac.
a constellation already known in antiquity, depicting a centaur, half-man, half-horse, with an arched bow and arrow. Its origins can be sought from the Sumerians who saw the god of war in it. The period in which Sagittarius reigned, preceded the winter solstice, thus represented the psychic energy that was to help in achieving coherence and synthesis, enlightenment and inner asceticism. The sign was considered the emblem of a philosopher - prophet and perfect man, where the combination of the body (horse), soul (torso) and mind (arrow) was a harmonious combination.
In the Middle Ages it was also a symbol of Christ and a white knight known from the Apocalypse.
I did not want to duplicate the image of the Sagittarius as a centaur. Although I really like these magical beings, the white rider from the Apocalypse speaks to the convention of horror.
As a fellow Sagittarian, I am loving this whole Death on a pale horse, Lord of the Rings, Winter Lord, Ice Elf look to my zodiac! Truly beautiful and inspiring!

Cold, indifferent to what's right or wrong. Just what happens will happen. No human emotions like pity or anger. That makes it frightning and at the same time peacefull. Like nature.

Damn, I love him!! The armor is amazing and I love his face! I think to me, he could use a bit of weathering so the white get's a bit mre depth and definition, but I also understand why you kept him pure white like this!

When I first saw the thumbnail I thought how can you turn an archer on a horse into horror. Then before you said it, it dawned on me: the White horseman of apocalypse, pestilence/conquer, and I was like "awesome, we sagges are bringers of the apocalypse". Amazing job. I'm so glad you are feeling better. And he is amazing! He kinda reminds me of one of the time sentinels from a book I read long ago. They were neither good or evil, but had to maintain a balance between the two over the time line continuity. They go after anyone who messes with the time line even a little. It really sucks when your babies don't feel good. I have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. My oldest has the flu with her husband. My son is getting over a cold, and his daughter is doing good. My youngest is trying to get over a broken heart, as she just broke up with her BF.

That one point of the repaint where he looked like Michael Myers is the best.
This is gorgeous. In my opinion, he looks like the lesser known version of the White Rider of the Apocolypse, Conquest. Conquest is an earlier interpretation, I assume from before widespread plagues were well-known, because Pestilence is the much more common interpretation of the White Rider. (Fyi, Conquest being the original interpretation is why Pestilence is sometimes given a crown) He just looks so dang regal, it's hard to picture him spreading virulent plauges. But him out to conquer the world? Oh I can see that. And it's utterly fabulous.

I think you did an amazing job! Since you were already customizing most of both pieces, I would've liked to see the hooves with a little more texture. And the guy has such scrawny little body for a doll... maybe build him up slightly? But the armor and repaint was done beautifully. I love the glitter, adds a frosty snow vibe.
