A lot of people are suggesting i use a webcam. I dont think i can while keeping the videos portrait format. Im still gonna test stuff though, this was just for fun. Im not gonna have a face camera most videos still but as we figure out what works maybe i will later on

Solid video as per usual, as far as for the face cam I do have a placement idea.. you could try above the emote button since the emotes appear on the right side of the screen, you wouldn’t be blocking anything if you want to keep this style of recording

I personally don't think the face cam adds extra value for clash royale, but who knows. I like that you're experimenting and trying to improve your content tho, so keep it up!
It does personality wise, ppl can watch clash anywhere but watch Ian specifically bc of personality (and skill) moments like 15:40 are so much better when u can see him smile)
@@ten4267 I think that most people watch the games to learn from it or as a secondary activity. The first group probably doesn't have a need for a face cam, since it can be distracting. The second group doesn't pay attention to details like the one you mentioned and watches/listens because of his voice and what he's talking about. Face cam would be a good idea if Ian decided to record a tier list video or when he's explaining a deck using clips or something like that.

Bro I love the new facecam but maybe put it on your king tower or make it transparent for the first few seconds of a match so we can see who ur facing great stuff ian
Edit: also you can use a secondary camera and then edit it in the video with a circle crop so it’s stable and looks better, you also won’t have the camera on your screen while you’re playing so you can fully focus and edit things out of your camera
Oooooooohhh loving the face cam! It’s also not too big so it’s not changing the size of the match which is unique compared to other cr UA-camrs w cam. Maybe try putting your face to the right of the enemy king tower and left of the timer?

I think it is a good option to do a poll in your community to see how many people do watch you on phone and how many in PC/wide screen devices. The camera thing may be better in an horizontal format, so if the poll results with the highest number of people watching on PC, maybe it is an option to change to a new format. And if not, stick with what you are most comfortable, Ian. Much love, I like to see you trying new things, its funny!
Also, if you do not want to use a webcam because you would not be using portrait format, of course you can! The magic of edition. I offer you to help with different possibilities.

Maybe small facecam for live commentary (like this video) and the larger split screen face cam for analysis videos? The smaller cat works well, and good placement on the king tower. 🙂

It's nice to not just hear your voice, you could place the camera above the emote/message button so it's outside everything, but i would recommend a steady facecam with a layout.

as you said i think it would be smart to use a separate camera cause the shaking of the one on your phone can make it distracting to watch the game when you see changing colors/movement in the corner or king tower

Tip for the face cam: the face cam on the king tower isn’t a bad idea. Personally I only look on your side of the game. Now your face cam is on the side I never look at. I think it would be better placed on the king tower, just around the area I always look at: the space in front of the king tower, where I place my 2.6 cannon

Honestly I believe there's no need in face cam for you. It will only take screen space since videos are in a portret format. My honest opinion🙃

1. Pekka + 2 prices (donno the rest)
2. Prince + miner (+ poison, spear goblins, bats, barb log, snowball, inferno)
3. Some hut spam (lol it woulda been hilarious😆)
...or smth else.
