Not many "muggles" (ordinary people, not regular car boot traders) at that car boot. Fewer and fewer muggles as the year goes on unfortunately. Same where we live.

I have seen some masks like this online, they are mexican ceremonial dance masks, from Guerrero, its supposed to be am invading spanish conquistador. Made in the 19th century. Sometimes they come with glass eyes (creepy!) I have seen them online for 2800 euros. If he is there again it might be worth having a second look, wood can be very light if carved thin, or it might be a reproduction piece, have a look for carving marks at the back. still might be worth investigating, if its real its an antique. Hope that helps.
