Keval Patel A tip from me; Grab a keyboard. Sound out, what's usually, the first note the bass and/or rhythm play, and find it on the keyboard, then look up a keyboard map. That's usually what key the song is in. From there, look up the scale of that key, and adjust to either minor or major (most EDM artists don't get into weird things), and play the scale. If it sounds right, cool. If not, try again in the other. Maybe even harmonic, but I doubt it. Then get it from there, and good luck.
The introduction is E and B-flat, which are the notes of an e diminished chord, and it alternates between E and D before going back to that chord. The melody is E, E, B, B, A, G, G, G, G, A, G ,F-sharp, A, G, F-sharp, G, F-sharp, E, E, and a few variations on this. After the "Razor sharp" part, there's E natural chord and some other ones I can't quite make out. It's interesting to see the music theory in the Razor sharp, as I'm studying piano right now. It's actually not a bunch of random noises!!!!!! Just kidding. Great cover jweihaas, you have an awesome ear.. I'll be looking forward to future covers! :)
Teachers are probably great, but they cost loads. I guess it depends how serious you are to learn it if you get a teacher or not. But if you're not serious then good luck self learning, it will be hard. "Alfred's Basic Adult All In One Course for Piano" is a pretty good set of books, it has got lesson and theory.

There is modulation happening but the scale seems to be E minor chromatic as it's using all the notes
