The heat need to start drafting for size and force spo to play big lineups next season. Because right now the league is moving towards bigs with skills, and this team needs a big so that way bam can move to the 4.

Bam is not a 4. Sure move him to 4 on defense and have a taller 5 who can move some on defense. Bam is a 5 on offense...

Bams has his advantages bc he plays the 5. Yes I agree he can play the 4 for stretches through the game but Bam playing the 5 is needed bc of his versatility

Pick 15- Terrance Shannon Jr- SG/PG. 6'7. Dont pass on or Jalen Brown basically. Scorer who can fill it up/Athlete. Lead college basketball in scoring before. Will not get bullied and can play defense.
2nd round Pick- Jalen Bridges- Baylor- SF/PF. 6'8. 3 point sniper who can score. Will be able to play defense.
Trade herro/ duncan/ Jaimi, and 2 future picks to help this team. I say get lauri markkanen and john collins. We get taller guys in draft who can hoop great or greater than guys leaving. They will be better on defense. Losing guys will hurt but i think this turns us around. Lauri/Collins make heat championship pushers.

I’m not going to pretend to know college basketball, but I at least took a little time to check out all the names circling the Heat.
I think I like Devin Carter the most, being that we desperately need a point of attack defender. He’s definitely that, plus he can score. His shooting form is a bit odd, but he shot well from 3 last season on pretty high volume. Really high motor/effort guy.
I also like Tristan da Silva as a really safe pick. A longer 2 way wing with a high IQ, and a really good shot. Maybe needs to bulk up a little, but just a guy that seems to do the right thing all the time.
Collier is very interesting, as the Heat could benefit from his strengths quite a bit. Good facilitating inside the paint, with a strong frame and great finishing at the rim. Literally does whatever he wants in the paint…but he’s not a very good shooter, and apparently no hustle on the defensive end, which I don’t think the Heat can afford. I am not talking a guard that doesn’t play defense if I’m the Heat. A shame, cause he’d be the clear choice if he showed even just a willingness to defend. Guys that don’t defend are bums.
I don’t like any of the bigs. Maybe Filopowski, but the rest of the ones falling to the Heat seem like they are projects and could be busts. I’m out on Ware, as he’s been described as lackadaisical/low effort. I’m so cool with Bam and Jovic occupying the 4 and 5 for the foreseeable future, so I’m definitely not in the camp of drafting in the first round.
There’s a chance Topic falls to us, which is intriguing to me. Former teammate of Niko, but also weak defensively, albeit a giant for a point guard.
I’m hoping Miami prioritizes athleticism and defense this draft. Too many guys on the team that cant simply go by their man without 30 screens.
I want Dalton Knecht but they might have to move a few spots up.

I'm drafting tyler kolek at our spot. Best player available at 15 imo. He would help our slow pace on offense and at least provide much needed point guard depth. If we draft a center, then what happens to jovic? Just saying.

I’m a fan of the Miami Heat and a fan of the game of basketball.. so I watched the came. I also don’t care who wins. I just want to see a good finals
celtics getting a free pass to the finals and tatum getting carried. There is no point to watch it. It is boring basketball to watch a stack team. portland helped them.

Heat should try to get Donovan for Herro, Jaime and future first round picks. If not then we go get Dejounte Murray, Lauri Markkanen, or Malik Monk sign and trade for Herro and a future pick from Kings for Malik Monk, Caleb or Highsmith, and/or future 1st picks. Draft a big like Zach Edey or KEL'EL WARE and Hunter Sallis probably most underrated best PG in the 2nd round, Terrence Shannon Jr., ZYON Pullin or Antonio Reeves. Zach Edey is NBA ready, great touch on offense, can pass out the double, and when you need an easy bucket. Sign Jonas in free agency. I love this teams chance with the new roster after this move. If you trade Jimmy it has to be 4-5 first round draft pick and 2 young players.
