@@LiftHillsandThrills that's always the way! Crazy loop (bulldog coaster) and astro storm have been closed every time I've been! Even on very busy days in the middle of summer 🤣
@@LiftHillsandThrills I've never had a chance to ride it! I grew up in London so trips to Blackpool weren't on the cards and by the time I finally made it up there it was closed. Now I live in the midlands and have family who own a caravan in Brean so take the kids down there once or twice a year and every single time it's been closed!!!
I love this one! I've always wanted to ride it! Seen so many videos of it of UA-cam. It's sad how most of the effects in there don't seem to be working I could tell there were a few sound effects missing mainly the sound of the electric chair man I am hoping it will get better!
This is the only saving grace of the park in my opinion, the dark coaster is half decent too but was getting a throughput of around 90 riders per hour on a busy hot August day.
It was originally built by the same people who own Blackpool pleasure beach & used to be located at Frontierland, Morecambe it’s sister park which I visited every year until its closure in 1999. Watching this I recognised the ghost train as the same one besides a few different ghosts etc so I did my research and it is in fact the same one from Frontierland relocated to Brean. I definitely need to visit now.
Currently obsessed with ghost trains and might have to track this one down 👀 Did what is obviously the scariest and not at all genuinely- kind-of-cute-for-how-ridiculous-it-is Dr Umbotos at the weekend!
It looked good 😄 it seemed like there was great theming inside and out, good speed, good use of turns and dark spaces, it seemed a bit of a sensory overload going on; I liked what I saw 😄 I don't know if it's the scariest ghost train, but I think it seemed to do good for what it is 😄 What do you think? 😄
Looks like aload of work needs going on with it seen a video of it over 10 years ago their was aload of sirens and everything be working now just looks sort of a massive downgrade
A lovely trip to Brean today and this was the only ride open, it’s a good job it’s a decent little ghost train!
I like that its pretty fast for a ghost train and there are multiple dips/drops...that is pretty unusual
It’s a great little ride
Did not expect to see Brean Liesure Park on here xD Terror Castle does have some pretty awesome scenes that for sure scare younger riders!!
Well we turned up but everything else worth doing was closed 😂

@@MH_ZeR0 Such a shame as it’s my favourite indoor UK coaster 😂

Fun how many ideas this ride takes from the original Ghost Train at Blackpool - It's like a faster, condensed version!
Constantly one after the other!

I’ve heard the electric chair guy will be working soon and some new props are heading in there shortly

Astro Storm is class
I’ve been to brean in Somerset about 4 times before
Did you enjoy it?
This looks better than Blackpool's 😱 The scares and sudden dips look really well executed for a classic ghost train
I enjoy it! Just needs slowing down a tad
@@LiftHillsandThrills Aha it looked like a borderline wild mouse in some areas 😂

When i was a child. and I ended up with a fear of Animatronics and PTSD ever since

Haha it’s a cheesy one that one
This one is better than the one they have in Fresno, California during fair time.
Niceee

Relentless, not boring that’s for sure with zero dead spots
That's the fastest ghost train I've seen
It flies!!
You know what , I will take your word for it cos I’m not going on it 😂😂
😂
I’d say 9/10, missing the obligatory Vincent Price laugh. That ghoul mirror effect was scary though!
👻
Nice ride
👻
Haha fair play that looks pretty decent!
It’s relentless
Yes
👻
I wouldn’t go on it that’s for sure lol

Its very decent.
Agreed

Don’t notice much difference if I’m honest from when I last went 5 years ago and 3 years ago. Can’t go as far back as 10 😂
Looks it. I best not take my daughter on it.
It’s relentless, probably best not to until she’s older 😀
Goofy ghost train
Name a few better (UK of course)
@@LiftHillsandThrills goofys not necessarily bad. But I would say blackpool’s is far better
