i had a glitch once where this man was being robbed by the raiders and as i shot at the raiders the dudes wagon flew like 500ft away from me. same thing happened when i was trying to kill a rabbit i missed the first shot then the rabbit got flung like 100ft away ur glitch is way better

@@missbelled6700 Lol, that's what I did. Sadly, I had to free him before changing camp, but you can leave that second mission after which he returns to camp all the way until chapter 3. Even then, after eventually completing that second mission (American Pastoral Scene), I immediately regretted it after seeing him back at camp.

There's that short period in chapter 2, where everything is chill, Micah is in prison, camp parties, drinking with Lenny, Arthur isn't sick yet etc. I try and stay in chapter 2 as long as possible
@@alexg.7913 You can actually delay Micah coming back to camp up until chapter 3 when you and Hosea sell the Braithwaite Moonshine. I like the chapter 3 camp a little better because of the water, and the no Micah is a bonus for the first half.
And than dancing chan chan. That was the best explanation what is going on and what is going to happen when there's a fight in every kind of bar, saloon, pub etc.

Rdr2 is the first game I have indulged myself into that much .Neary about to complete the whole game, i wish i could play the whole thing again with Arthur.
The fact that it's performance capture is even better because that roger Clark did all of the movement. So he had to dance and drunkenly run from the police all in skintight spandex suit with pin pong balls glued to him.
I love that part too shit kills me every time like the scene before it you thought some bad shit was about to go down and it cuts to that dance shit kills me so funny
it was an old dance from that time called the Can-Can that goes back to the 1820s. You see several vaudeville acts do the Can-Can in Saint Denis as well. But due to how much slower popular music and dances were to get old at the time, it was perfectly normal for people to be playing 60-90 year old songs and doing such dances that old too in the 19th century.
The Rockstar Gamer they were so happy and drunk after the offline was so good that they made online while they were partying and drunk and just puke all over the online serves and options.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. A lot of the other missions in RDR2 are pretty standard shooting-gallery/drive-to-the-place-between-dialogue missions, but these 2 missions stand out. Why? First off because they're full of really illustrative character moments, Arthur gets to ruminating and Lenny wanders off; Uncle makes like he's actually doing work and tries to dance with Charles who is absolutely not having either of it. But second, they're tactile in a way that the other missions aren't. Pull the right trigger to take a shot or hold some dude's head in a trough. Pound the A button to drive nails in a rhythm. Both of these missions use the basic method of interacting with a game world to further the player's immersion. Game devs are getting better and better at engaging our brains and our hearts, but they're still (in my opinion) struggling to engage our hands in a way that's intuitive and natural. Shame, that.
Best $2000 for me. I had a plan. I bought an Xbox One X and large 4K TV just for this game. Worth every goddamn penny. See you boys in Tahiti... Now where the hell is Lenny... LENNIE... YYENNY... LENNNNIE... ughh
It does feel like an epic journey. A hell of a year for Arthur thats for sure. Makes the early game feel like an eternity ago. By the epilogue, its borderline feels nostalgic. What a great game
This mission actually has a really sad throw away line when Arthur tells Lenny that no one would ever have him, Mary left Arthur high & dry, the gang was really the only thing he could depend on, which makes Dutch's Betrayal that more aweful & heart breaking.
Imagine if they just.... didn't rescue Micah... Imagine if they didn't rob Cornwall... Imagine if Arthur never took any of the Strauss collection missions...
Imagine if they didn't play the 2 families, imagine if they didn't rob the Saint Denis bank, imagine if they used the savings to pay off all bounties and bought Beechers Hope with what they had left.

It's incredible how in a western game the two best missions involve:
Getting drunk
Building a house

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. A lot of the other missions in RDR2 are pretty standard shooting-gallery/drive-to-the-place-between-dialogue missions, but these 2 missions stand out. Why? First off because they're full of really illustrative character moments, Arthur gets to ruminating and Lenny wanders off; Uncle makes like he's actually doing work and tries to dance with Charles who is absolutely not having either of it.
But second, they're tactile in a way that the other missions aren't. Pull the right trigger to take a shot or hold some dude's head in a trough. Pound the A button to drive nails in a rhythm. Both of these missions use the basic method of interacting with a game world to further the player's immersion. Game devs are getting better and better at engaging our brains and our hearts, but they're still (in my opinion) struggling to engage our hands in a way that's intuitive and natural. Shame, that.
If only there was a mission in which Arthur and John attempt to build a house while drunk.
Sums up a life in the frontier pretty well, no?
The small talk stories between the characters during the drive to place missions was magical too

After finishing the game, you think back on all the fun and happy missions, especially this one. And remember when times were simpler.
It does feel like an epic journey. A hell of a year for Arthur thats for sure. Makes the early game feel like an eternity ago. By the epilogue, its borderline feels nostalgic. What a great game

This mission actually has a really sad throw away line when Arthur tells Lenny that no one would ever have him, Mary left Arthur high & dry, the gang was really the only thing he could depend on, which makes Dutch's Betrayal that more aweful & heart breaking.
