  • In this interview, we speak with survivor Patrick Minno, who was diagnosed with Stage 3 Esophageal Cancer a couple of years ago.
    He made the tough decision to have surgery last year and is still going strong with the changes he's made to his life.
    We're sharing his amazing journey as a means of educating, strengthening and empowering those who may feel uncertain about their health choices.

    I survived EC for now. Nearly 2 years post ivor lewis surgery 🥰

      It's been one year and 7 months since I found out adenio cell carcinoma Stage 3 but T2 N.I went through 1 day week chemo,5 days a week radiation, surgery & every 2 weeks immunotherapy.After 6 months the immunotherapies had to stop.Side effects it pause respiratory failure with edema in my lungs.On Oxygen and progesterone for 5 months now.They said, I should be off soon.IT No cancer detected now.The dumping syndrome is the horrible part for me..

      @@joannefonceca7446 try dextrose energy it stops the dumping syndrome. Also avoid sugars and fast sugar releasing carbs

    What happens if you’re upside down?

      Most would advise against this.

      @@dararose_ecawareness thanks. I imagine anything horizontal or swimming would not be advised. I guess scuba diving is out of the question too.

      ​@NOWWECAN I can swim. Can do most activities just laying flat for long periods of time (falling asleep) is not good for me but everyone is different. Thanks for reaching out.👍
