    The clay may be a good self-defense round. It would certainly make someone give it a 2nd thought after taking a few of those to the ribs or head. Amazing shooting skills, Bro !

    I took a empty Campbells soup can 16 ft. Away 3/8 steel I put a hole in one side and dent in the other side,
    With GZK .08mm bands. It's great slingshot material to make bands out of!

      Yeah,I think they often make it themselves. I have some 12mm spherical clay with a hard glaze(Saunders CLOD POPPERS) cheap in bulk & surprisingly hard, about 2 grams weight busts tera cotta pots easily,.But it ain't No Lead👍

    I think you could have potentially broken the glass bottle if you had hit it center mass of the label. Hit a bigger arc of the circumference, and the label material could help to focus the energy into the bottle instead of pure deflection. That was some tight shooting, dude. Potato was my favorite target. Subscribed

    Another good penetration test.. your always trying to break through some targets👍👊 Clay performs better than I first thought, depending on size&brand. I've got two brands of little over 1600 rounds I need to be environmentally friendly with now that's it's getting warmer 🥵 today at least..

    • @k.o.skeeponshooting235
      @k.o.skeeponshooting235  Рік тому

      Thank you so much Kenneth appreciate the comment. I was surprised how well they penetrate different targets. I also buy them in bulk, have over 3,000 rounds. It gets hot here too it’s been reaching 87F and it’s only gonna get hotter. Once again appreciate the comment brother, 👊🙏🙂

    Sick shooting brother! Love the video! Those clay balls are uber useful to me for practicing instinctive shooting. Very affordable! I also need to get a Castle Clamp for my Enzo. Great for sight acquisition! Weather's getting better here so I won't feel as jealous watching your videos 😂

      Haha 😂 valley weather is so unpredictable brother. One day is hot, another is cold, but nothing compared to where you live, glad to hear it’s getting better. Man o man you definitely need to give those castle clamps a try, your gonna love them. I gave some to my brother he has not been able to put his frame down. They work great. I appreciate the comment brother, always a pleasure to hear from you 🙂👊

    Some time has passed since the introduction of 8mm plastic bullets. According to your experience, these are really worth getting for practice or accurate shooting like steel bullets

    • @k.o.skeeponshooting235
      @k.o.skeeponshooting235  Рік тому

      At 10 to 12 meters they work well, but any further and they start loosing accuracy due to how light they are. For plinking and just having fun they work well. But for long distance shooting I prefer steel. Thanks for the comment appreciate it 🙂🙏

    Clay ammo that I have, don't always brake when hit the target.
    Very hard surface and sometimes ricochettes back when hitting wood.

    • @k.o.skeeponshooting235
      @k.o.skeeponshooting235  Рік тому +1

      Thanks brother, definitely have to be careful with ricochets. I’ve tried other brands of clay and some do shatter easier than others. This particular one hits hard. Definitely packs a punch but also shatters. I was surprised with some of the targets it penetrated. I appreciate the comment brother thank you 🙂🙏👊

  • @pauljohnson4948
    @pauljohnson4948 Рік тому +1

      @k.o.skeeponshooting235  Рік тому

      Hey Paul, appreciate the comment, yes, it shatters on impact and no picking up ammo afterwards, perfect for plinking, i would just use a lighter band next time .4 .5 would do great, I was feeling the band slap with the .6. Lol Again thanks for stopping by appreciate it 🙏🙂

    Great video ! Clay is perfect for plinking around the house, is is biodegradable and just dissolves when it gets wet. The only problem is it’s inconsistency in size. I ordered 3/8” (9.5mm) and they ranged from 7.1mm to 8.9mm, never did get one single 9.5mm.
    Does anyone know of a very consistent size clay ammo ?

    • @k.o.skeeponshooting235
      @k.o.skeeponshooting235  Рік тому

      Thanks for the thoughtful comment, I have encountered the same situation, it’s just not consistent in size. I have yet to find size consistent clay ammo. If anyone has some links on where to find decent clay ammo please share. Thanks for the comment once again take care brother.

      I buy the clay balls from SimpleShot. I like the 11mm… i haven’t specifically measured them, but just from eyeballing them they have been pretty consistent. I do find the variable odd ball every so often though. Nice ammo though. 👍
