Brilliant video. I'd love to see more videos of Matt please. I like the fact the vid was a bit longer and matt goes into a decent ammount of detail in what he's doing and why he's doing it.
Thanks for the positive feedback! We've got a load more longer, in depth videos coming soon, so make sure to subscribe to our channel and hit that bell icon...Enjoy!
Really enjoyed watching this; methodical, informative and logical/ reactive thinking. Hope you do more Matt, definitely my kind of carp vid as opposed to the usual regurgitation of campaign/old estate lake/product pushing. Nice one!👌
Really good watch that Matt and TC brilliant angling you hit the nail on the head no just chucking ya rods out a lot of thought in what you’re doing my syndicate is very weedy I’ll definitely be using some of tips 👌🏻cheers guys 🎣🎣
@@Pauljay65- Hi Paul. I'm not really a braid user and I was using nylon. My choice is green GT80+ in 0.40mm dia. As well as being a really good all round line that behaves well it has amazing abrasion resistance, which is what I want in weed. Hydrotuff comes a very close second in terms of toughness but I prefer the all round usability of GT80+. Hope that helps.
I really enjoyed the delivery and nice easy pace . i didnt understand why you would make a load of disturbance leading for a spot and then wait to put the rods and bait out, while the swims disturbed, why not put the rods out and bait all in one go rather than wait and do it all over again. Im not knocking, i just didnt understand the theory. just trying to improve my approach . many thanks for the lovely easy to digest video👋👋👍
Glad you liked the video. There are a couple of reasons for waiting. Firstly we still had to shoot me explaining about what I was doing on each rod, the bait mixes and rigs etc. More importantly though I really didn't think that the afternoon was when they would feed so I wanted them to be able to come back out of the weed and revisit the swim without lines in the way. I was all clipped up so casting wouldn't cause much disturbance. It does depend on venue but, on a busy day ticket water like Sandhurst I don't see bait up as disturbing the swim. Quite the opposite really and l feel spombing out my is more like ringing the dinner bell than spooking them. If it was shallow and the fish less pressured I'd probably do it differently. To be honest I don't think it would have made much difference either way. Hope that explains my thought process.😃
Hi Paul, not sure if the personal attack was necessary. You're clearly a very one dimensional angler who's unwilling to learn from other, more experienced anglers - Good luck in your fishing.

@@matteaton7427you was using braid? What line would you recommend I’ve got noir braid on one set of spools but at my weedy venue it’s not allowed

Superb.
Thanks Mark. Glad you enjoyed watching 🙂
Firstly don't catch that 1980s thing in your ear when you cast, drop the lead and don't talk a load of bollocks about small leads 👎
You are another very sad, spiteful human being. Matt is a great angler and a very nice chap.
