Wish I could have been there to record with you I have done at least two recordings of the 500 by I70 and I still can’t get a perfect video either way great video.
@@sirensofthesouthwest6788 have you talked to the E.M.A. about volunteering? Maybe they might hire you as the new painter for it... this one will need a new coat of yellow paint.
@@Siren1000T1 yeah the dundee 500 had a pretty fast rotator. No wonder! Thats why it was rotating so fast. Thanks for the info. What a slip up from federal signal. Its a good thing this 500 has the right gear inducer.
The simple answer is the 10/12 port ratio... if it’s 10/12 port it’s going to sound like an XT22. Sirens with a 10/12 ratio include B&M Mobil Directo ACA Allertor (rare) 2T22 and 3T22 500AT CLM rotational And a few others.
Do you still have your 3T22 from Brandon? A lot of people said you sold it and are not interested in sirens anymore. Do you ever plan on making any videos again?
Awesome! This is my favorite flavor of 500. That smooth windup and winddown!
Same
Same!
Flavor ??? ???
i second that
Same
Frr
Glad to see a current video of this siren. The original one I saw was from 4 years ago. Good to see this siren still up and running and not replaced.
This is a different one. Abilene has three of these that were originally from Topeka.
@@Joethaboss66 nice. That's very impressive. I'm glad there's still some of these gems around.
@@Joethaboss66 Topeka Kansas?...I thought they didn't have tornado warning Sirens out there.
Look up Topeka, KS siren and watch the videos of them.
@Joethaboss66 i thought Abilene had only a 7T and one 500.
Finally, someone got a good video of one of these
This is the best 10/12 port sound change my mind.
Well, it is one of my favourite 10/12s
I also like:
?T22 Federal Signal siren Series
Grifco 999 Air Raid/Fire Siren
This one is rare... sounds like an old school air raid Siren.
because it is a old school air raid siren
@@YoooitsSCARSno I think you're wrong that siren is not in the school there's another one in the school
He means the age of the siren😒
Sounds like the rotating CLM siren, just with a sharper tone.
This is the perfect video of a 10/12 port 500
500 round back.
10/12 port 500's are my absolute favorite 500!!
Wish I could have been there to record with you I have done at least two recordings of the 500 by I70 and I still can’t get a perfect video either way great video.
So much yesss
I’ve never seen a conical intake on a 500 before. Sorta weird to see once i process the image in my mind. XD. Nice video too!
All the 10/12s had these.
Ah, didn’t know that. Thanks
@@sirokat yup. The intake was straight on the 12 and 9 port versions
@@TheSleepyMechanic0524 huh. I had no idea til now. I had a hard time telling the difference between a 9/12 port and a 10/12 port 500.
Reminds me a bit of Dundee, MI twp’s old 500SHTT before it was uninstalled, except they didn’t put the belt on the wrong way one this
Wait, they removed it?
Los The Ghost a while ago
@@SNIXC why and what was it replaced with?
grimatronic pl I don’t recall the reason and what it was replaced with.. go ask siren1000T because it was replaced a long time ago..
@@SNIXC ok
It?
I wish the one in Dundee Michigan still worked
Same here. I watched 2 videos of that beast. Credit goes to siren enthusiast: Siren1000T. Check out his channel.
sounds like a 2t22 or 3t22
Same port ratio.
Why would they test these every Tuesday? Here in MI they get tested once a month on first Sat of the month at 1300 local time
Heh sound just like the Dundee 500-SHTT, Amazing!
Sounds like a 2T22
yes theyre both 10/12 port
@@sirensofthesouthwest6788 have you talked to the E.M.A. about volunteering? Maybe they might hire you as the new painter for it... this one will need a new coat of yellow paint.
Sound like a 20/24 port to me
Sounds just like dundee mi fire siren
Except with the correct kind of gear reducer.

Can I use the audio on these videos for custom siren ambiences?
sure, thanks for checking
Great video! Sounds awesome!
