Like she could just confront him about what he did to get her attention!

She wants revenge and would rather go with his idea of being in a fake relationship, and have him think she dosen't know yet instead of choosing the easy way and just confronting him about it. As of right now this is a VERY toxic 'relationship'. (maybe that answered some of your questions since it'll be a while till another part comes out)
