I can tell your boyfriend is really making an extra effort when speaking French to you, because I can totally tell that it's not natural. Haha! @@laocongge He does speak french, but I think he hangs out a lot with anglophones and so he has a very weird accent and seems to confuse the féminin and masculin which is usually typically anglophone haha

Seeing Leah's dedication in this vlog was one of the things that finally pushed me towards learning French again. It's been a bit slow learning on my own and I felt myself starting to lose steam. Randomly decided to revisit this video four months later and it was such a great feeling realizing how far I'd come and how much I could actually understand and follow along now..

Ce que j’ai remarquée c’est que tu a bien progresser en français, même si c’est une langue assez complexe, surtout au niveau de l’écriture. Mais tu peux être fière de toi ! my dad spoke spanish with me and my sister until my parents divorced when i was 4 some years later i decided to relearn it and it was one of the best things i ever did for myself. learning another language is incredibly enriching and especially you and me are lucky because english, spanish and french are all closely related. i don't speak french but i can understand parts of it there are tons of similar words.

I am French and I can tell you that you are doing very well! Your accent is cute, you just have to correct some grammar mistakes. For example, it does not say “mon” passion but “ma”passion.
9:10 comments is said “commentaires” in French. All I’m suggesting is that you take care of those issues and put it right. Yes, we, French like to insist on the fact that we speak very clearly and distantly.
But still, your level is very good, I also hope to learn Korean and Chinese in 1~2 years❤️
I've done a bit of french, chinese, and Korean through Duolingo. This online class she's doing is super cool and I'd love to do it, but it's also expensive and takes such dedication!
