Are you sure about the "delay" feature? I've understood that the delay feature determines how long you want the lens to retain it's darkness, after you finish the weld.
I’m just a home diyer That has a cheap 90amp flux core welder at home for odd jobs. I did spend a few extra bucks and get a Lincoln Viking auto darkening. After installing new good batteries, I can’t seem to see the bead or weld puddle. And on thin metal (thicker than sheet metal) of course it burns through even on the low min setting because I’m looking for the puddle to form. (Yes I am in weld mode not grind mode - haha). Luckily I’ve not gotten flash burn because I made the sensitivity and delay settings as soon as I got it. I started with darkening setting of 10 and gone both ways but still not able to see the puddle. Any help would be appreciated!
I just put an auto darkening lens in my helmet that my dad gave me but it doesn't seem to get dark it stays like a light yellow is that a good thing it is a huntsman solex 2100 lattice or am I supposed to put it out in the sun to charge it please help I'm just learning how to do this

But I miss rocking my head forward like a chicken pecking the ground to swing my hood down! ;-) Nice overview!
haha nice, but seriously a tiger hood just flip the lense up and down no problemo
What do you think of Andeli welding masks?
are you sure when i work with it after work i cant get pain
I have a question. Why would you need to create a delayd reaction th the arck flash?
It controls Dark to Light delay, or the delay AFTER the weld stops. At least according to Lincoln's product description.
Your absolute right, when you start using auto darkening helmet you just can't use other simple mask. This make my life so must easier
