This was one of my all-time favorite Paul Buyan games. I think it was a pretty big deal because both teams have new coaches. Also, let's face it - both of these teams are decent football teams. But neither of them was going to contend for the B1G this year. And neither stands a very good chance to beat the best teams in the conference. So that means this was the biggest attainable goal for both teams. I think that raises the stakes. Michigan got it done. Go Blue!
Orji and Warren both looked much better. First time all year they played them the way I wanted to see them with the Leak/Tebow approach. Then seeing them both celebrating together after Orji scored was just magic. I’ve been waiting to see fire in this team all year. Glad to see some life. Play calling still gets stale at times, but when they mix it up, not too shabby. Curious to see the rest of the season. Indiana lost their QB, OSU is struggling mightily to run the ball, NW is NW, and Oregon looks legit. Let’s see what these boys have left in the tank.
Best game of the season with three highlights. 1. No penalties 2. No Turnovers 3. HIt a few passes longer than 10 yards. Even though MSU had a great game plan it never appeared that UM lost confidence or showed any panic at all. The rotation of the QBs was executed perfectly too and the defense was good when they were lined up like they were trying to win.
I was at the game Saturday night and Michigan's offense played loose for the 1st time all year, even though the rushing offense underperformed. Orji looked alot better running the football and didn't look as robotic.
Michigan doesn’t win game without Alex Orji!! He salted the game away and in terms of opportunity, he did more with less than anyone else on the team. I agree with Devin Gardner; best running Orji has shown, and, and, and, it wasn’t a fluke. Difference in my opinion: Patience. Orji allowed play to develop then pounced on opportunity
They got the QB situation right last week. Davis IS the best pure passer they have and you HAVE TO have a passing game to win. However, Alex has the physicality and running ability to keep the defense honest. It was a perfect split. Best called game all year by Kirk Campbell.
One thing for sure, our O-line is not good enough to just "smashmouth" with Kalel whenever we want. Most fans, including myself, have been asking for that. MSU easily stuffed our run. Must really mix up the play calling , especially on first down.
Dg’s point is that he can’t read the field well and doesn’t naturally weave through the holes of the defense. There’s no doubt that Orji can run, but he has poor vision and reactions when it comes to running. He can definitely improve on that but he’s not a natural at it.

Dude I’m just glad we’re not going through what FSU is going through. That program will take years to recover from this season.
KG was too afraid to return that ball after what happened in the USC game. That’s why he just fell on it 😂

He looked like he did last year running bc I think he knew he didn't have to process the passing part. Executed his role effectively.

Damn, no Sam? I wanted to hear him go off on lil bro and their fans 😂
True, but the show starts falling apart as soon as he and DG start the ridiculous screaming

Did you watch MSU vs Iowa ? Iowa has one long run , that’s it .
I don't want to hear that Orji isn't a good runner. Did you see the 29-yard run? His acceleration was amazing!

Where was Amorian Walker ?
Was he injured ?
I blame UW game on wink and the DBs
DG thought Orgi and Tuttle were both better than Warren.
Paul Bunyan’d em
I wonder if DG ever consider going to MSU out of HS?
