Hey Man! Great video series! I think I've watched every single nomad america vlog on youtube so far and yours is one of my favorites! The fact you're solo really adds because well... I recently booked a 10 day trip with nomad america in an FJ Cruiser and I'll be going solo in May! I can't wait but I've also never been to a jungle in my life and currently live in the desert. Fortunately I do have my own rooftop tent and love overlanding.
Any tips you can offer? Also curious on safety from other humans camping solo in Costa Rica.

Cool, man! Thanks. You're going to love it, and Nomad is so great. Only tips would be try to get off the road at night. It gets dicey very quick on mountain roads at night. I've been to CR many times. Never felt any real dangers, but crime does happen so I'd use best judgement on where you camp. The Nomad people are all locals and in the know so they can tell you what sites have had issues recently. The greatest threat is petty theft if you leave your camp...and most of this seems to happen to people camping on the outskirts of beach towns. The place in this video is awesome, and safe, would have spent more time here had I been on a longer trip. Also, don't underestimate how long some trips can take. A 100 mile drive might take 2 hours in the US, but it could stretch to 4 hours down here with road conditions, detours, and other stuff.
