    I was watching Ginger Cook here on UA-cam (this is totally not my idea and I wanna give credit where due 😊) and she said if you make a mistake (line's too thick, hand shook and now you have paint where ya shouldn't etc...) take a Very clean brush with a flat edge and get it barely damp then you can slide it's edge along the mistake. It acts like an eraser. Just don't swipe it twice, clean the brush each time. It can take a few swipes but it works really well! For people like myself who are just learning and make a LOT of mistakes it's been a life saver! I've normally tried to paint over it (which you did perfectly by the way 😊) but I always end up just making it worse. I imagine with practice (and better paint than I have lol) I could do it but for now just thought I'd share that tip. I was super excited to find it. Thank you for this video! I absolutely love painting along with you! You make art fun again. It was becoming almost a chore for me. Then I found your channel 😍 much love and deep thanks from this new artist!!

    I love watching your videos...I am a multi crafter who has a crafting OCD problem..lol. I am constantly moving around watching tutorials trying out them...or just do something else. I started with scrapbooking and card making...got board😳 then I tried acrylic pouring...I love it...just wish I could have results like them...but I dont. I recently watched one of your u tube videos, and just fell in love with your crazy fun hair, your get up a go spirit..but most of all, your teaching techniques. Like I mentioned this OCD thing doesnt let me sit for long..wish it would help me loose weight...but it dont😄. Anyway...I have been watching alot more of your videos, and I am now giving the q-tip painting a try. I just wanted to let you know how much you inspire people with your easy to understand and follow techniques. I also want to tell you that I love all the crazy things with your hair and hats!!! They are soo cool!!. I cant wait to finish this first painting I am doing...thank you for making learning to paint so much fun and entertaining!😃

    Hi! what a beautiful painting! I have a question....you have to wait for it to dry before going to the next level....but your paints in the pallet remain ok ( not dried) how do you do it? is it because it's heavy paint? thanks for the feedback. And thanks for your wonderful work!!!

    I stepped out of my box and went to a Paint Night in my area and painted for the first time. I used 3 colors black, red and white. This is a great addition to compliment and pair my painting. I am going to attempt your tutorial. I found your blog when I saw your rainbow tree made with q-tips. That caught my eye and all your work inspired me! You are so much fun with your colorful personality and teaching. I am a Music Teacher to 5th and 6h graders and I know to keep it fun and make sure to have instant gratification. You do that!! Hi! I'm a plein air artist who recently joined a very small co-op art gallery. Yesterday I discovered that another artist has her nearly exact copy of your painting "A Walk in the Rain" for sale for $400, and crediting only herself. I also found out that she has many other paintings for sale that have also been you tube demos. I feel sick. How do you feel about this and art plagerism and copyright infringement in general?.

    • @TheArtSherpa
      @TheArtSherpa  7 років тому

      I think that feeling is letting you know the kind of artist and creative being you want to be. I do have a use policy that if work is exhibited in a public space such as a Gallery and online that attribution to me be given. This is actually to protect the Artist, the gallery, and the collector. Nothing is worse than a collector that feels tricked and see the painting they payed for is student work. I am glad you own compass pointed you to a truer north. Sometimes seeing something like that can guide you to your best direction in your own art Journey.

    Cinnamon , love your work....was all ready to paint this pic? Wanted to open an account.......BUT...really concerned re the looooooong list of terms to agree to.....seriously that's a lot of info....what does it really all mean is my question.....wish I could set up an account....so I can use your traceable as per your recommendations? Your also any excellent Instructor!!!!! Any Help? Thanks in advance....

      No trouble Martha. The terms comply with regulations because we have a social media site where people can chat and share art for free we have to comply to modern regulatory standards. So basically we just are up on modern web practices. You can always get the traceables directly off pinterest too :) Hope that helps
