Oh super that I found your Channel guys! I'm mexican, but I live un germany and I work with 3 georgian guys, and I want to learn a bit of their language ,so you are too helpfull ! Thanks !!!!
Gvantsa is such a princess!!! Both are so nice!!! I taught English there for 2.5 years and loved it but had a hell of a time with the language. Could write it well and was conversant but this really helps!
Thank you very very much for passing your native language for us that are interested in learned it. Is very beautiful this language as soon as others european languages. I study a little each day while I can. Thank you very much, couple. I'm from Brazil
I am so happy that I found your page. I recently started learning Georgian and I hope to use it someday to communicate with others. I would like to visit Georgia to collect insects, visit museums, and meet other entomologists there.
Madloba guys,my maternal grandfather is also Georgian from Adjara, but I do not speak the language.. You are cool and natural! I am going to visit Tbilisi soon, so I thought it would be better if I learned a thing or two!!
Hi sir. I watched your videos in UA-cam channel.Georgia language learning classes in your UA-cam channel you both are explaining the words are very clear and understanding with English sub titles.your videos is useful to me.today onwards daily i watch your videos and i will learn Georgian language in 1 month.thank you so much for both of you.i subscribe your UA-cam channel and I share to my friends also it is useful to us.
im so happy you’re doing this and show how proud you are of being able to teach your language to foreigners. i’ve been interested in georgia since i was young and lately i’ve been willing to learn the language but unfortunately there is a huge lack of resources for it. hope i can go someday cause it’s honestly a dream, i’m more than subscribed now and will try to keep track on every new thing you upload. greetings from argentina!
Thank you so much for this video! I would love to learn more about the word “mitkhare.” I hear this word in conversations often, but it seems to be an exclamation? Thank you again for helping us to learn this wonderful language! God bless you 🙏❤️
To teach effectively such a challenging language you should make up a system, beginning with the phonology, passing by morphology etc. Without the grammar knowledge, just repeating phrases nobody can learn anything. Advice for the future
Thanks for your nice comment 😊 Ak gamichere - please stop here. Generally you should say this to taxi drivers or mini-bus drivers (Marshutka) Public buses have their stops and you cannot say this :))
For now consider as exceptions , or if you want deep and strong Georgian grammar you should start from the beginnings of grammar... we will explain very basics of grammar lately
There are exceptions, but when we mention street name it is usually "ze" (on) - Rustavelze, Chavchavadzeze, Pekinze etc. If we say name of the district, in this case Didube, it is usually "shi" (in) - Didubeshi, Vakeshi, Avlabarshi etc. (But in case of Saburtalo District we usually say Saburtaloze rather than Saburtaloshi).
Hi, would you please tell more about transporters, for example when I want to get off the bus or I want to say another person that he or she wants get of the bus or not?
Aferistis are everywhere 😁😁 we experienced a lot in europe too... even more, one taxi driver took away 100 dollar from airport to the town, I do not wanna name the city :)))
Great video, with some phrases I didn't know. ძალიან დიდი მადლობა. Some listening practice for intermediate learners would be great too - there's some stuff on UA-cam for beginners, and lots of native-level stuff, but basically nothing at all for us intermediate learners. It's a gap in the market guys!
გამარჯობათ ბექა და გვანცა! Thank you very much for these videos, they are very helpful. I am studying Georgian and I have gotten to the point where I can pronounce and read the Georgian alphabet, but I still find it difficult to distinguish ჩ and ჭ, ქ and კ etcetera. Would it be possible to add the sentences in the Georgian alphabet too? It would really help me improve. Thank you in advance!
Hi :) I am from England and really appreciate your videos, I will be visiting Georgia in June :). I am having trouble pronouncing words properly, such as “Ghirs” when you say “Ra Ghirs.” Is there some sort of rolling of the tongue or way you suggest to learn pronunciation? I am trying to learn how to roll my R’s but it is taking a lot of practice. Thank you!
:))) literally it does not mean anything, but in every day life and talking Georgians are tend to say smth with hoda, as "yes and then" and continue narration
Hold on a sec! You guys (drivers) can decide about the price in taxi ?? 😮😮 I mean, isn’t it illegal? Why driver decides about price and changing it, which it means he can cheat on people and ask for more money
Yes for sure 😁😊 drivers decide the price, especially random and private taxi drivers, but if you use application like Bolt and so on, the prices are given.
I would love to see a video on numbers(counting) and how to order food in a restaurant! Thanks for making this series!
Thanks for your suggestions, we will do that for you 😍
